Response: It took a movie (Used People) to make me realize this about myself!
Response: I googled it, and saw a picture of the post office. It's a very small town. I likely have a bunch of 2nd cousins from around there. That means we share the same great-grandparents.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I also saw there's a sequel to that book, on Amazon.
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed my swap.
Response: Glad you liked my swap. The paper for the envelope was some old gift wrap from Michael's.
Response: I used a plain envelope, then covered each half with the gift wrap.
Response: I'm so happy to hear that you would like to be penpals! Glad you enjoyed my swap. At last, someone to share conspiracy theories with, who doesn't think I'm a nut!
Response: I found them at a local Dollar Tree store.

Response: We got the smoke and ash from the fire. If the wind had been blowing in our direction, we all would have had to evacuate.
Response: That's good to know. Perhaps it was a former home of his that burned in a wildfire a couple of years ago in Santa Rosa, CA.
Response: I did join Stitch. Waiting for my first
virtual event on the 27th.
Response: I hope you won't mind, but I sent you an email with a link to a banned video. It ties in with the subject of COVID-19.
Response: The Kliban card can be colored. The set came with a set of markers.
Response: I got the stickers on ebay. But once upon a time, I got them from Current.

Response: I'm glad I was able to pass it on to you.
Response: It's one of the few restaurants that still give you soup/salad, and dessert, with your entree, at no extra charge!!
Response: Ok. I will look forward to your letter.
Response: I found all three of those framed prints at the .99 cents only store -- of all places! I'm so glad they reached you in one piece!
Response: I'm sure they do have a scent. I've never seen such flowers in my area. I guess they only grow out in the desert areas.
Response: Hold it right up to your nose; stare at it for about 10 seconds, then slowly move it away from your nose. The 3D image will "pop out" at you!
Response: Don't give it! It takes practice. Hold it right up in front of your nose; stare at the image for a few seconds, then slowly start to move the card away from your nose. It was hard for me to make it out in the beginning, too!
Response: The cardboard is recycled from a cereal box. Thanks for the "heart" rating! Barbara
Response: Hi Josie,
I have re-sent the snail-mail swap today. I hope you get this one! Barbara
Response: Was there any additional amount due on postage? I wasn't sure, because I used one of those automated machines to weigh it and "spit" out the postage label. If so, let me know and I'll reimburse you right away.
Response: I got the postcard at a local Christian bookstore.
Response: I can so identify with the main character - her name is "Much Afraid"!
Response: The pellets aren't for eating, just sniffing and getting high (kitty marijuana)! It's called "Fantasia Catnip Pellets", and comes in a large plastic jar, sold by Drs Foster & Smith (mail order company). I'm glad Juliet loves it as much as Mischief does!
Response: It sounds like you tuned in to my chosing that particular postcard (ESP perhaps?).
Response: The large frog stickers are available at my local Dollar Tree store. Do you have one of those stores in your area?
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I always check my partner's profiles when I'm putting my swaps together. I found the notepad at the .99 cent only store in Pasadena. I'm always looking for swap items at my favorite bargain spots. I have as much fun putting my swaps together as you have in opening your swaps!
Response: There's another part of the swap you haven't received yet -- it's coming in a separate mailer marked "Media Mail".
I'll have to look at the ink pads when I get home from vacation this weekend. It was nothing fancy. I used a large foam pad under the cards as I was stamping, to insure that the ink was distributed evenly on the images. I used to have a huge problem with uneven ink distribution on the images in the past, even when I used a brayer to apply the ink to the stamp. With the pad, I have much better results now.
