About Me

Six years ago I was an avid SwapBotter but then due to personal reasons I had to abandon the fun and attend to things at hand. Unfortunately life gets in the way sometimes.

I am 61, married with two adult sons. I work FT though that will be coming to an end due to work related health issues. I like art journaling and making art. I especially enjoy "sassy" swaps and things that push the limits. I am easily bored.

I have a new cat and a 6 yr. old Blue Heeler.

Comment: Your journal was wonderful - I really enjoyed reading it - made me wonder what my partner will think when they read mine. Some of it was challenging, wasn't it? AND - your wrote that one of your fave movies was Ushpizin?? I loved that movie too. And you have an Israeli song on there too - I couldn't read the name of the artist - who was it? I listen to a lot of Israeli music and speak fluent Hebrew. This was a cosmic coincidence.
Response: It is either Amir Ve Ben or Holy Taya. I also love the Kol Cambridge podcast on TLV1, it is my workout music, LOL. And yes, I loved Ushpizin so much when I got it from Netflix that I had to buy it. That is rare for me but when I feel blue I just watch it and I feel better right away :D. I agree, cosmic coincidence! I don't know anyone who is interested in such things around here so it is so fun when I connect with someone.

Comment: I love your postcard! I'm going to use it as the center of a journal page. Thank you! And, thank you so much for joining the "movement". I doubt he will ever see any of the postcards, and if someone tells him about them, he'll tell everyone about how much fan mail he's getting. :-( But, it did make me feel a little better to voice my opinion, even if it'll land on deaf ears!
Response: I am glad you like it! It is from the cover of a magazine but I can't find it online so I scanned the card before I mailed it to you to use again. I think whoever made it should sell it! It is fabulous. Maybe all the cards will end up in the Smithsonian, LOL. I too doubt he'll see them unless they end up on Fox news or SNL.

Response: I am glad it arrived and you like it. I put a lot of work in preparing it and refused to start until 2017. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun too. Look at all that stuff! LOL!

Comment: Thank you so much. Ive never heard of texture paper before..ive felt textured paper but diddnt know thats what its called :) im gonna add it to my shopping list 💜
Response: You can make your own texture paste. Just 1/3 glue 1/3 baking soda and 1/3 acrylic paint, mix together and use. If too thin add more baking soda. Easy peasy!! Just google it :)

Thanks for the pizza recommendation - looked up the brand name and I might be able to find it at my regular grocery store (Busch's) as well as Meijer and Kroger.
