I am Jana, a Czech lady living, dreaming, weeping and laughing... in the Czech Republic, Europe.

What I like most about swapping is the personal touch between swappers - people who have never met before. It is a pleasure to check my mail box... and what I find brings often a big smile to my face! With the same passion I choose what to send to my partner! I enjoy both parts of the game!

I do not want to take part in too many swaps at one time because I want to keep control.

I usually rate received items immediately after I get them.

I ALWAYS send swaps. If you ever do not get something from me, please contact me, I will resend.

I like postcards. I am an active postcrossing member.

I prefer postcards written and sent "naked", but I also like postcards sent in an envelope. I always appreciate beautiful stamps!

My favourite postcards are those showing beauties of the Earth: mountains, islands, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, trees, wild flowers and wild animals. Cards from the national parks are more than welcome! I also like map cards and cards of the places you like and recommend to visit :-)

I will be very happy if I get postcards with Japanese or Chinese calligraphy, postcards with the pictures of The Little Prince, with drawings by Cicely Mary Barker or those by Marjolein Bastin.

I like nice stamps very much. I collect stamps with bears, with butterflies and with squirrels :) I also collect stamps with laughing and smiling people because laughter and smile are the most precious things in this world.

Tai-chi, hiking in the mountains, walking anywhere in nature, city walking, biking, taking photographs, drawing, sewing, reading...

I love wild animals and wild flowers.

My favourite animals are squirrels, bears (though I do not desire to meet them too close) and butterflies (I love to chase them with my camera).

My favourite flowers are forget-me-nots and gentians. I am always happy to find new snowdrops early in spring and I love meadows of summer plants. I love poppies! I also love trees in blossom... or autumn colourful trees... or just green trees.

I like reading very much and I read almost everything... children fairy-tales or classical novels, sci-fi as well as poetry or biographies... and I read almost everywhere... at home, on the train, in a doctor's waiting room... It is passion though with my eyes getting older I do not read as much as I used to...

As the English language is my hobby I love reading books by English and American authors in English.

My favourite colours are blue, navy blue, sky blue, green, orange, white and black, red, purple, and blue. Well, I like colours :D
