Hello from the beautiful Southern California desert! My name is Carrie Jean, and it's really nice to meet you! :)

I'm 40-something and married (28 years together!), had a loveable, grumpy old man of a cat until a few years ago (He passed 1/15/21), and teach.

I'm here to swap postcards, ephemera, and stickers, primarily. I am a total nerd for ALL paper and stationery products, though, and I love fodder for collaging, especially fussy cuts, pages from children's books, and segments from books (especially dictionaries) in languages other than English!

If anything goes wrong with my swap with you, please let me know so that I can make it up to you. I will do my best to do the same for you, and I will always, always reach out before giving a bad rating.

My mail is slow these days, like for so many of us, but if you don't receive something after a few weeks, please don't hesitate to message me. I will absolutely resend. I don't flake.

And if, per chance, I owe you postage for miscalculating the weight/size of a letter or postcard, I am happy to repay you with unused stamps or cash, as you'd prefer. We are all doing our best. :)

Due to a loss in my friend-family, I took a break from swapping for a while, from November 2023 until March 2024. I'm just dipping a toe into swapping again, taking it slowly.

I know some people enjoy exchanging food and drink, but I don't use candy or single tea bags or things like that that have gone through the mail. (I'll just pass them along to someone who might use them if I can.)

I don't have any use for teacher stickers ("Great job!" type); I teach adults.
