DISCLAIMER: In June I received an unexpected diagnosis after being ill for quite some time. Luckily, my family and doctors are very supportive and I am feeling great and have high hopes for the future. I have sent swaps late and I do apologize. I should have dropped from the swaps but it just wasn't at the forefront of my mind. I understand if you feel that rating down is warranted.

Hi Everyone, my name is Krista. I'm 39 and a SAHM and wife to 6 tiny humans and 1 large-sized husband. I love paper, it started in school when I worked in the office and had to make copies (there is nothing better than the scent of hot paper) and has continued into adulthood. I am an excitable person who loves Jesus, cooking, history, bringing people together, learning, organizing events and learning new words. Though I am extroverted I do sometimes need to ramp down. I am currently in one of those phases now because I just organized a Glow Tag event to raise money for a local charity with 67 kids participating....I'm les tired.

I try and reuse things instead of throwing away so the package your swap arrives in may be interesting but also secure.

• Colors: green, pruple, cobalt blue
• Music: So many come to mind, I couldn't pick a favorite but as I have aged folky music calls to me more. All of my children have musically-inspired names. It is VERY important to my husband and I.
• Food: Green Peppers
• Movies: I like historical dramas, documentaries, romance and subtitled-films
• Words (at least today): pamplemousse, melancholic, capricious, thematic, eudaimonia, adagio

After an 8 year hiatus from deltiology, I am back!! I truly love postcards and think the act of sending them in such a fast paced time is really romantic.
