Oh my, this was fun the first time out. It was one swap for which my boyfriend actually enjoyed shopping with me. Like that this one has a real long sign-up :-)

This sounds awesome. I know as any other Christmas I will get something I see as butt ugly. :D However if I go to the 99 cent store with extra money my partner will get more then one ugly thing.

I missed this on round 1. I am so in this time. I know exactly what I will send. . . unless I find something even more ugly!

Thanks for putting the mail deadline after Christmas! I already have something in mind, but the holidays may provide something even better.

I'm seeing some super-ugly things in the stores this year. It's like they're specifically made for White Elephant parties. I've been tempted, but resisting, because I know I'll score big in the after-Christmas sales.

hosted a huge yard sale yesterday to help raise funds for my friend who is directing a short film. She made close to 2G's for the day and I found an awesome Super FUGLY! Made spending a long day outside with the flu and a 101 fever, bearable:) I was sore at losing out on a James Brown rubber duck. So cool and swiped away in an instant.The Woman who bought him said she was going home for a bubble bath with the duck and was going to wrap a wash cloth around his back ala cape style. I told her I wanted pictures...of the James brown duck with cape that is:)

I made my postal worker's day when I dropped mine off at the Post Office this weekend. I had written "Caution: Ugly Inside" on the box. She looked at it, smirked, looked at me with a little more question on her face and then asked the standard question about hazardous/breakable/pershible, trying not to laugh. I said no and explained the label. She thought it was too funny and went in search of a stamp that read "Spoiled", but couldn't find it. Oh well, at least I made her day.

I never received an UGLY. Never received a swap. Got a pm from my partner to the effect that the postman wasn't picking up her packages but that's the last I heard of it. Hope everyone had good UGLY fun!
