Hello! My name is Adrian and I live in West Jefferson, North Carolina with my husband, son, two little brown dogs and a parakeet.
What to send me? Surprise me! Send me the card or postcard you haven't found a home for. Anything unusual or odd is great. Most of all I love the great variety of things in the world.
My favorite part of mail swaps is your message! Write me whatever is on your mind, but I especially love book recommendations.
Or tell me about your pets, or what you ate for dinner, or what you enjoy most - sending or receiving mail.
I read a lot, and love getting recommendations of books to read. I read fiction and non-fiction, and will give anything a chance.
Some favorite authors are: John Irving, Winston Graham, Ann Patchett, Margaret Atwood, Mark Helprin, Neil Gaiman and Cormac McCarthy.
My favorite book from my childhood is A Wrinkle In Time.
I'm currently reading the Mysterious Benedict Society series aloud to my son and husband, and we are on the final book. Previously, we read the Harry Potter books. What should we read next?
Knitting is something I always come back to, and lately I've been knitting scarves and hats for senior citizens in need. I've also been doing a little cross-stitching.
Paper crafts are a current passion, especially junk journals and book making.
Is cooking a craft? Because I do love cooking experiments of all kinds and trying and perfecting new recipes.

RAK stash clean up So I didn’t read the brief well enough so here another quote that actually meets the brief. Sorry about that.
“All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.”- Ralph Waldo Emerson
