Free and Easy Proof of Sending - Get a RECEIPT.

If you take your mail in person to a USPS location, wait your turn in line, and pay for postage with a person at the counter, you can request a receipt. The receipt shows the date sent, destination city/state/zip code, and estimated delivery date.

I take photos of all outgoing mail as well.
