Description:

Who in this wide world does not have an excess of magazines lying around at home? I study fashion so I have tonnes...and they're breeding =O So I figured, why not share?

For this swap you will send at least 10 of your favourite magazine pages to one partner. These can include recipes, how-to's or just pictures. They can all follow a theme or you can just give random stuff! It's a pretty open swap. Just make sure the pages are of a nice quality, not torn or anything and, as always, it should be something that you would be happy to receive.

Postage shouldn't be too bad on these so it is International! This should give a good amount of variety too.

Everyone is welcome.

I love magazine clippings, but I use them for altered art/collages......is this what you mean?

DorkSide 11/29/2008 #

Yes n_n I use them in sketchbooks for college. Just send loose pages or clippings of images to your partner

Is it ok if they're not in English? =( Plus, is it ok to bend the pages?

DorkSide 11/29/2008 #

they can be in any language you want/have! It just makes it that bit more interesting (although if they're recipes or how-to's it might be best if they're in a language suitable for your partner) And so long as they aren't all crumpled up. The rule here would be "if you would be happy to receive it, it's good to send" n_n

since it's so close to Christmas, can we put in Christmas cards with our swap?

DorkSide 12/ 5/2008 #

oh for sure n_n you can include anything you think your partner might appreciate (and cards are always a definate yes)

I just had the swap I sent for the Magazine Clippings returned. As I sent it Certified Mail I have the dates that they tried to delivered it to Char - Jan 3, Jan 6 & Jan 17th. It has "unclaimed" stamped accross the front of it twice. I have verified the address and it is the correct one. Personally I don't feel it is my job to resend this swap. It has already cost my $5.91 to mail it to the address provided. I am happy to send you and my swap partner -Char E. Wells ( Char ) a photo of the package to confirm this. I will be waiting to hear back from you both
