I have a basic philosophy about swapping. I try to send out good work, and I presume that other swappers operate with the same intent. With that in mind, I am not going to be your nightmare picky swap partner. What you send, you send. If our tastes are not compatible, that's not your fault. I appreciate everything people take the time and effort to include in a swap. If you add some extras that I can't use, I will pass them along with another swap. If I find something offensive, I will toss it and forget it. You don't have to please my aesthetics or wonder if your art is good enough. If you took the time to make it, it's good enough.

It bothers me when people take a problem (real or perceived) into a public discussion without first taking it to the individual involved. I made an error in a swap description and quickly became the topic of a forum thread. I was referred to as a bad host, inexperienced and uncaring by people who had never been in contact with me, and all before I even knew I had made a mistake. I found this absolutely ridiculous. If there's something wrong, please just message me and let's take care of it.

Also, as much as I enjoy swapping, there is a big world outside the internet in which I am deeply involved. Swap-bot is a tool I use as part of a creative outlet, and that's all. I appreciate participating with good swappers and I really enjoy seeing other people's creative work, but if something goes wrong or is disappointing, it will not rock my world. That being said, flakers are listed as warnings to swappers who might have these naughty people in their swaps.
