Hey!! I'm Kaleena. I'm in my late 30's and live in the Atlanta GA area with my family. I'm married to my husband, Billy and we have two girls (9 and 7). I'm a working mom in the insurance industry, but have a culinary arts degree (what a combo, right?). I love all things crafting, though I can be described as a jack of all trades and master of none. I love to junk journal, paint, draw, paper craft and try new mediums, but I'm an amateur at all of these things at best. One of the highlights of my day is going to get the mail (even if it is all bills). I would love to start getting some happy mail and send some out to make someone else's day!!

Hobbies: Does drinking coffee count? How about sarcasm? :) Working out, reading young adult fiction, any outdoor adventures (waterfalls, zip lining, rock climbing, etc), logic puzzles, the Bible and eating good food. I also enjoy MCU, Steelers football, Braves baseball, cheesy jokes, Sunday newspaper comics, puns, sushi and chocolate.

I love paper, colors, patterns and just craft supplies in general. All the cool patterned paper now is SO addictive!! I need a hobby like this to use some of the great paper I have. I've recently gotten into making junk journals. These are very satisfying and I make them for my kids so their artwork isn't all over the house!! I also love origami and other random odds and ends. If you find some weird playing card, foreign currency or a cool hobnob that will fit in my junk journal, I'd love to stick it in there. If there's a story that goes with it, even better!!

I'm just starting out in this penpaling hobby so I would love supplies I could use to make or send letters. Stationary, envelopes, stickers, washi, stamps, die cuts, tags, cut outs, whatever is great!! I'm not artistic enough to make ATC's, but I would love to receive them.

Likes - just to give you some ideas, but I'm open to whatever you would like to send.

Coffee, cacti, llamas, woodland creatures, owls, mushrooms, Harry Potter, Totoro, bright colors (favorite color is green, but I like blues and purples as well), hiking/outdoors/camping, adventures, hot air balloons, lanterns, moon/space, keys, umbrellas, chocolate.

For postcards I love Chunks of cardboard from packaging. These are some of my favorite swaps!!

Dislikes

Loose glitter, kid reward stickers. Not a fan of Hello Kitty and I'm not really a cat person, but am ok with it if that's your favorite. Pink is my least favorite color and I'm not girly. I'm also not a planner person. I wish I were that organized, but I'm just not. Please don't send me things that are offensive.

I'm not picky. I like to see different styles that people have and enjoy crafting in. If you like vintage or Halloween, I'd love to experience your art. I enjoy Christian themed mail but I will respect your wishes if you do not want to receive those.

I'm a letter writer and an envelope decorator. That's my jam! If I send you a letter please don't feel like you need to respond, but if you would like to I would love to get some regular penpals.

Movies: Penelope, Gone in 60 Seconds, Italian Job, the Mission Impossibles, anything MCU, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Fast and Furious movies, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, Inception, A Few Good Men, 10 Things I Hate About You. I like action, movies with a twist and chick flicks. The list could go on, but that's a good start.

Music: Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and other pop, though less of this lately because I don't drive anywhere.... I also listen to Christian radio and enjoy Jeremy Camp, Lauren Daigle, and TobyMac. One of my all-time favorite bands is Pentatonix (the acapella group).

Books: YA fiction including Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games, Divergent, Mortal Instruments, etc. I also really enjoy the Jennifer Chiaverini books, though I don't quilt at all. I like Roald Dahl, Dan Brown and Francine Rivers. Mostly fiction, easy reading and the Bible. I'm a scaredy cat though so no horror for me.

I always rate the swaps I get, usually within the weeks. I like to thoroughly open them so I can respond with a good comment. Also, I will always send out my mail on time or will contact you if there is an issue. Please if you do not get something from me reach out. I will make it right. However, I put a lot of time and energy into my swaps so I like to give the post office enough time to get it to you. Right now I am waiting at least 4 weeks on domestic mail and 6 weeks on international mail before calling it lost.

I'm new to this and still trying to figure out some of the lingo. I'm also still trying to figure out shipping. I'm SO sorry if I send something with incorrect postage. Let me know if it's wrong! I'll make it up to you!
