I live close to the water. I enjoy walking on the beach and being outdoors. I also love going out on our boat.

We have a camper and like to travel around visiting national, state and local parks.

I am a Master Naturalist and enjoy anything nature and environmental related. I help with environmental programs for school aged children.

I also love to garden (vegetables and flowers).

I work and volunteer at a railway museum as an exhibit interpreter.

I have a rescue beagle who have trained me well! I lost my cat Onyx in December 2023. I had her for over 15 years and miss her.

I like to pen pal and have done it since I was a preteen.

I love lighthouses. I like to visit them and also collect them. I have a lighthouse decorated room.

I also collect tea pots. I am a tea drinker and enjoy trying different teas.

I also enjoy exchanging postcards. I like the following types of postcards: lighthouses, tourist, covered bridges, city, state, province or country, and maps. I also love receiving love postcards that represent the area that they are sent from. I also like to exchange keychains and frig magnets.

I love learning about different cultures/areas, people's lives, hobbies and interests. Trying foods from different areas is one of my favorite things to do.

NCIS, Criminal Minds, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Mandolorian, and Jeopardy, I also like shows like Forensic Files and Investigation TV. I am currently watching Death and other Details and the Great British Baking show.

I like counted cross stitch. I have also started making my own envelopes I like receiving things to decorate letters and envelopes (stationary, stickers, washi tape, and other embellishments.) Different color pens or stamps are also good. I have also starting embossing and using die cuts.

I also like painting ceramics. I consider myself a craft generalist. I find it fun to try new crafts; although not always successfully.

I am a tea drinker. I do not like coffee. I do not like licorice/anise teas. I prefer stronger teas.

I also have a collection of washi tape and stickers. I love all different kinds except for reward/school related stickers or ones with letters/numbers only.

I would ask that no religious or Easter items or quotes be sent to me. Religion is a private thing for me.

I rarely wear make up or nail polish so prefer not receiving it. I do like lotions and shower gels.

I like receiving things that represent the area that you live in.

I love reading mysteries and suspense novels. I also have read all of John Grisham's novels. I also enjoy reading most of Nora Robert's books.

I listen to classic rock and country music. My favorite band is the Eagles. I love Hotel California. I also enjoy other groups from the 60s and 70's.

I like a lot of different country groups, .

I love to travel. My goal is to visit all 50 US states. I also want to visit most if not all US national parks and monuments.
