Married, mother of three. Been married for 29 years to a wonderful Argentine fellow. We have 2 boys and one girl. All grownups now.
I also work full-time as an Associate Librarian. I've been working at our small public library for about 10 years. I was promoted to Assistant Manager in Nov. 2023. I do preschool storytimes, baby storytimes, and outreach programs for a few local preschools, and a kindergarten readiness program.
I love writing letters, getting letters, sending letters, making funny stuff to send in the mail. All things mail. I've even read books filled with other peoples letters & notes & lists, etc. I would love to have some new pen pals. What fun it is to make new friends!
I've spent my life working with children in one capacity or another. Youth at my church. Babysitting. Facilitating workshops for troubled youth & their parents. Taking care of my own kids while having half the neighborhood at my house on any given day.
Love, love, love to read. Anything clean. I especially adore youth fiction/fantasy, historical fiction & kids books. Brochures. Flyers. Cereal box labels. You name it.
Have kept a journal since I was about 8 or 9 years old. (Now i'm 57 - that's lots of journals.) I've just started adding some "art" to my journaling and have been bullet journaling since 2016.

Mailart, creating postcards, minizines, art journaling, collage, journaling (making travel journals).
One of my co-workers/fellow swap-botian and I have been learning how to water color. She and I bought the same book and paint postcards that we send to each other. That's been fun!
Postcards of all kinds, especially black and whites, antique, ad cards. (Nothing nude/vulgar)
Sticky notes. Washi tape. Ephemera.
Water color paper.
I participate in Postcrossing.com
And MoreLoveLetters.com. At Christmas time, they host a 12 days of letter writing and this has become a personal tradition that I look forward to every year.
Please let me know if you have not received my swap or a rating. I do live a bit off the beaten path, so things might take a day or two longer to arrive.
I do not have pets. One of my sons and I have pet allergies. Not interested in anything with cats/dogs.
Please do not send anything with nudity or raunchy content.
Not interested in politics.
I don't like any kind of tea.
