WHO I AM:

• I am a web producer for a television station and I just love my doggies! I've been trying to get more involved at church and I volunteer as webmaster for a non-profit mission group my church supports.

• I am an active alumna member of Alpha Gamma Delta, an international women's fraternity. Our colors are red, buff (yellow) and green... our jewel is the pearl and our mascot is the squirrel. So, anything involving Alpha Gam stuff is greatly appreciated.

WHAT I LOVE:

• I love art, being creative and playing with my dogs. I'm addicted to guitar hero and love a good glass of wine. I enjoy travel - even if I'm by myself... adventure is always welcome here!

FAVORITE CRAFTS:

• postcards, greeting cards, ATCs, collage, painting (oil, acrylic and watercolor), ceramics, sewing, knitting, quilting, drawing/sketching and the list goes on...

• I'm planning to make a patchwork quilt by the end of the year with completely random fabrics. I would love some interesting fabrics from around the world...especially something special to your country/culture. I want this to be completely unique and would love if my fellow swappers helped me out!

EPHEMERA:

• LIKES: anything vintage or vintage-inspired, handmade papers/fibers, foreign (not USA), maps/travel, postage themed (esp. canceled postage stamps), movie/ticket stubs, anything Victorian, Asian/cherry blossoms, anything cultural, anything old or that looks old, vintage paper dolls, postcards, tea bag wrappers, earthy/muted tones, old photos, any beverage-themed ephemera (wine/beer bottle labels, other beverage labels - esp. hard liquor)

• DISLIKES: cutesy, neon, girlie, most holiday ephemera (EXCEPT Christmas), some pastels

GOING GREEN:

• I try to be "green" so I hope you're not mad if I re-use envelopes if they're in good shape or send along items I receive in a swap that aren't really my thing. I'd rather they go to someone who will use them than for me to throw them out...or for these items to collect dust in my craft area.

BEVERAGES:

• I love drinking tea and trying new ones! My only request is no chai or peppermint teas. But, if that's all you have, I will find the tea a good home with a friend. I do love using tea packaging for projects. Through some of my swapping, I've becoming a fan of the Finnish Nordqvist(sp?) teas... especially the one in the yellow packaging!! :) Please only send sealed tea bags. I have soooo much loose tea right now I don't know what to do with it all! :)

• I love wine, especially of the dry blush variety.

• Besides tea and wine, all I really drink is water, coffee, orange juice and diet coke. I'm lactose intolerant so I avoid milk, heavy ice creams and custards. I can usually handle dairy in small doses as long as I take some medicine first. (I was so sad when I developed this a few years ago... I love ice cream!)

FAVORITE MUSIC:

• 80s rock... and bon jovi, queen, the police, bill joel, peter cincotti, pink floyd, chris daughtry, carrie underwood, sara bareilles, norah jones

FAVORITE TV SHOWS:

• House, Project Runway, American Idol, Nip/Tuck, Grey's Anatomy, FRIENDS, Spongebob, Law & Order, 24

LIKES:

• tea, wine, crafting, postcards, red, knee-high socks (not the toe kind), learning about other cultures, baking, chopsticks, new recipes, panda bears, happy bunny, hello kitty/sanrio, spongebob, pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, alpha gamma delta, pearls, squirrels, beverage coasters from pubs/bars, Eiffel Tower/Paris images, cherries, anything Italian (esp. from Florence/Prato - my best friend's husband is originally from there!), Cinderella, musicals, broadway/theater productions, old photos, scarves

DISLIKES:

• CLOWNS (This is a huge deal... I absolutely HATE clowns. They scare the bejezus outta me), carnations, most cutesy things, girlie, excessive neon, fruity/flowery lotions, soaps & perfumes, lisa frank

BOARD GAMES:

• Settlers of Cattan, Monopoly, Life, Risk, Uno, Zobmondo (Would you rather), Mad Gab, Catchphrase, Scrabble, Apples to Apples

BOOKS:

• HP & The Goblet of Fire, Angels & Demons, In Her Shoes, The Nanny Diaries, knitting under the influence... Honestly, it's hard to narrow it down, these are just some off the top of my head.

• My favorite authors are Jennifer Weiner, Beth Gutcheon, James Patterson, Dan Brown, Emily Giffin

OTHER:

• As far as jewelry goes, I don't really wear bracelets. I usually wear a necklace of some kind and wear earrings when I remember to put them in. Rings are hit or miss... I have shorter hair so the only hair things I really use are bobby pins or headbands
