Hi! I just want to put this out there! I send my swaps on time, every time. But having said that, recently, I found that due to my disability, I was unable to get my stuff out by the due date. It was only a few days in a rare occurrence that I wasn't able to rectify the situation in the amount of time that I. and certainly YOU, would probably have liked. And it made me sick with worry because I've never been late or received a rating less than a 5. I also have never had anybody have a conversation with me on SwapBot, regardless of how many times I've tried to personalize my experience here beyond just slapping a stamp on something & like a robot, moving on to the next brain numbing stamp slapping swap... I mean nobody even responds to the comments you make on their comments, as far as I can tell. But whatever. I like it here. I keep coming back! This last week, however, I have had to reach out to my partners for the current swaps & let them know that I would not be able to send by due date because i had a medical procedure (which is normal but nobody would know that because nobody knows me) that knocked me flat on my ass. I apologized profusely & begged for understanding when being rated. And I finally found some humanity. The kindness came out of the nooks & crannies & smothered me just when I needed it most. Thank you to all my partners this last week. UNFORTUNATELY, I CAN'T PROMISE THAT IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN BECAUSE I'M ALONE & DUE TO THE NATURE OF MY DISABILITIES. But i'm only 48, so in turn what i really hope for is that... YOU CAN'T PROMISE IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN EITHER.

Howdy! About me is pretty boring... I live in Seattle but was born & raised in N. California. I live in wonderful peaceful bliss by myself. I have 2 grown kids & a granddaughter.

I LOVE & collect all things elephant & and frogs...i really like the green tree frogs with the cute little red toes-they're my fave & they're the ones who find me most often but just any old frogs will do!!!

I am slightly (um. okay. alright then...more than slightly, alot more) obsessed with all things oriental/Asian... especially Kokeshi Dolls!!! I collect Kokeshi Doll stuff.

I love the colors green, orange, turquoise. Dragonflies, reading, true crime, MMA, flowers ( my faves are red poppies, daffodils, tulips & my least fave are roses & carnations) & flower gardening, gnomes, mushrooms, the Royals (Meghan's preggers--YAY!!!), popsicles, peacocks, postcards, notecards & pens & all other office supplies, beanies (knit hats) & rain & coffee & fun socks, stars, anything handmade, kindness especially! ALL things paper crafting related except for those wands people are making for loaded envelopes. Silly little things...I love tie-dyed stuff & funky hippy lookin stuff, including the old vw bugs & vans & peace signs. I'm a hippy, country girl at heart

DISLIKES:

What I really truly do NOT like is anything girly, frilly, lacey, pretty, pastel, pink (ie. like Pepto Bismol pink), baby blue or certain flower prints but I do LOVE flowers ....ugh!!! I'm about the most un-girly chick you're gonna come across without being manly. I just can't stand all that cutsie, frilly stuff like puppies & kitties... I like them in real life but I don't want to receive them in the mail or on a crafty project, ya know? I also don't like kid or reward stickers or any character stuff like Disney. I'm not much of a sticker fan at all, really. except for nice grown-up 3-d stickers that are good for crafting.

I really do love all things crafty, I think.

Right now, I'm doing mostly paper crafting. I.E. cards, pocket letters, flipbooks, altered notebooks & my fave ENVELOPE ART!!! If I haven't done it yet show me or tell me & I'll try it at least once (almost anything). I really enjoy making pocket letters. And I'd like to do more flipbooks. I absolutely love receiving & sending HAPPY MAIL!!! Even tho I'm new here, I've been running my own swapping/crafty grp for a year on fb. It keeps me very busy.

I'm venturing out & doing new things & also things i haven't done in a long time. I've been doing some jewelry making & I'm loving that. And dangles, too! I love making things for people & sending out Random Acts of Kindness. Gotta pay it forward & will til the day I die. We do it in my fb grp, too. I love it!

I'm also just in the last couple weeks starting to do a little beadwork again but that's only to add to my paper crafting! But I'm definitely addicted to that right now! It's new & fun!

I don't even own a t.v. so compared to most Americans I watch very little television. But I do watch the streaming channels for docs. I'm always looking for a new show to binge!

okay, so my fave tv show of all time is Friday Night Lights. Then Parenthood. If you haven't seen them, especially Parenthood, you need to!!! I'm so addicted to documentaries, trashy reality shows, and any show that films real prisoners like MSNBC Lockup.

My fave trashy shows are MOB WIVES, which was canceled about 2 years ago & i haven't been the same since #ripbigang

I also love the Housewives of Jersey.

A few weeks ago I binged Bates Motel & that is now right up there in the top 3!!! It's not scary, AT ALL!!! So if that's why you haven't watched it yet (that's why i didn't for such a long time)RUN. Don't walk. Run to either Hulu or Netflix & start it!!!

So, let's recap: It's mostly trashy tv or documentaries. I'm such a conundrum, right?
