My name is Kathy. I am married to the Steve, love of my life. I have 5 grown children (ages 37- 28) and 9 grandchildren (17 - 5) and another due in July of 2020. We now have custody of my daughters children. Mason is 7 and Alexis is 5 she was still a baby. I am so happy to say that my daughter is in a Christian rehab and doing very well. She will graduate the transitional house in mid May and move back home. She is now clean for almost 2 years and is working.

We have 12 year old cat named Sassy. We also have a Chihuahua puppy named Sam and a chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua) named Gracie.

I love being outside. We enjoy camping, hiking, and fishing. I love to work in the yard and garden. I love the smell of Gardenias, Honey Suckle and Magnolias when they start blooming, but plant many flowers in my yard and really enjoy visiting botanical gardens or seeing wild flowers when we hike.

I also love crafts of any kind. I sew, make ATCs, scrapbook, cross stitch,do plastic canvas and crochet mostly. I love patterns and material, of course. I enjoy browsing the local thrift or "antique" stores. We love to travel and see new places. Life has taken somewhat of a change. Since we're parents again with Mason in 1st grade, and Alexis in 4K we are more tied down.

I love Jesus so anything with a scripture is always a favorite. His goodness never ceases to amaze me. Most of the reading that I do is books by Joyce Meyer, Max Lucado, Joel Osteen, Beth Moore and similar.

I listen to Contemporary Christian like Sidewalk Prophets, Jaime Grace, Toby Mac, Mercy Me, Natalie Grant, Lauren Diagle, King & Country, Hillsong, Crystal Lewis, and many more. I love to sing! I love music. I love 70s & 80s music and a little country at times. I got Barney down pat again too!! Alexis adores to sing and dance.

I love This is Us, Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU, Greys Anatomy, NCIS, Heartland, When Calls The Heart and Handmaids Tale. I enjoy watching Joyce Meyer and Jesse Duplantis too. I really am enjoying Netflix, Hulu and Amazon.

I love all kinds of animals, including cats, dogs, bears. I love to watch the birds at the bird feeder from my sun room. I love cardinals & hummingbirds. I have several hummingbird feeders around the yard. I love flowers, butterflies & dragonflies.

I collect angels. Hubby says I collect everything.

Recipes especially healthy ones and those fun for kids I don't like anything too spicy hot. I still bake for my kids, grandkids and other gatherings, but try to find healthy alternatives whenever possible.

Dark Chocolate (I generally have two pieces with coffee each afternoon). I also like sugar free mints or hard candy when I exercise. I occasionally enjoy caramel, & sea salt chocolate

Papers, die cuts & misc for ATCs, scrap booking or other crafts. Stamps & pads

I love anything homemade.
I like to walk in the early mornings when everything's fresh and crisp or at twilight when there seems to be a hush over things. This doesn't happen often right now lol.

I like to chat with a neighbor I meet walking or working in the yard. I can talk to about anyone that I meet. I tend to be positive, upbeat and a love to joke around. God is faithful and I trust Him. I love Jesus and He has never let me down.

Trying to find our new normal. There's school, sports, playgrounds, bedtimes & baths again. Most our age aren't used to having a preschooler tag along tag along any more. Mason is ADHD with ODD (oppositional defiant disorder) due to trama. I never realized something like that existed. Some days he's a real challenge.

I don't care for:
dragons, realistic snakes, bugs( except for the cute ladybug type) or rodents, AC, witches, sorcerers, wizards, skulls, dark or gothic type things. After Gracie found a skunk, not so crazy about them. I am not a big fan of Halloween except maybe the lighter side like the children, candy or cats ( I love giving out candy and seeing their costumes and excited faces). I celebrate fall instead. I do like light steampunk that's not dark or revealing.

Mason (7) loves Minecraft, Fortnite, fishing, Legos, cars, trucks, candy, stickers, and most of the normal things 7 year old boys like. His favorite color is green. He's so smart. He's already reading at a level D (4) chapter books and doing addition, subtraction, fractions.

Alexis (4) loves Frozen, Barbies, Babies, Princesses, LOL, butterflys, coloring, stickers, singing, & dancing. She's ribbons & bows one day and camo & boots the next! She has a big time sweet tooth! She was one of 20 chosen to attend the same elementary as Mason so she’s in preschool.
