Hey there! I'm Ana, a 38-year-old living in the north of Spain.
I'm all about cozying up with a good book, fueled by endless cups of coffee. You'll usually find me with knitting needles or a crochet hook in hand, accompanied by my two adorable cats. I'm also a big fan of international TV shows/series, so I'm always eager to hear your recommendations – please share your favorites from your country with me!
When it comes to sending letters, I like to add a personal touch – think questions, curated playlists, stickers, quotes, tea bags, and other little surprises.
I always mark my swaps as 'Sent' as soon as I take them to the post office, and I always rate and leave feedback once I receive an envie.
Please, if you ever don't receive my envie in a swap, I ask that you send me a message. If something gets lost along the way, I'll be happy to resend it.
During the day, I'm a psychology grad turned web developer. I love technology, but I'm here to reconnect with handmade crafts and the analog world.
I enjoy role-playing games, especially investigative ones like Call of Cthulhu, but also medieval fantasy ones like Dungeons and Dragons and other narrative-driven games.
Random things that bring joy to my life: cats, geek glasses, people with very long hair, feminism and LGTB+ rights, the sound of ocean waves during beach walks, Spanish omelets, silence, origami, bubbles, lollypops and daisies, purple things, hiding under blankets, a good night's sleep and all kinds of cacti.

Here are a few things I'd love to receive (of course, these are only suggestions in case you are out of ideas!):

Many people tell me they love "my handwriting", and I'm glad you enjoy it! However, I should mention that it's not actually my handwriting. I use a Cricut Joy machine, which allows me to create the beautiful script you see. I use a regular pen instead of the "official" markers, and I have to wrap some tape around it to make it fit snugly, but it's totally worth it!

Thank you for the wonderful items for the Happy Mail Tag Intl. The folder and mini envie are pretty and well-made… I want to make such a folder one day myself! The mailed envie’s decoration is gorgeous and I like the stamps. Thank you!!
I just read on your profile that it’s the cricut joy that you use for the writing!! That is awesome 🤩 and explains how it’s such a perfect font. 😄
Oh my! I’m gushing over this envelope of coffee themed goodies you’ve prepared for me, for the This or That forum tag 😻 I absolutely adore everything about it! The rainbow stamp even got a really nice circular cancel on it and not a crazy over inked mess! I’m excited to get to add these stamps into my stamp collection!!
I am beyond fascinated by this multi pocket envelope that everything is tucked so nicely in….amazing, so fancy and neat!! And I can’t get over your penmanship….is that your hand writing?! The ink looks like it was hand printed with a pen, but, it’s soooo perfect and unique hand font!! 🤩 Or is it printed or a stencil??? it’s impressive, no matter what it is….and I love the purple 😄
Thank-you for taking the time to share your amazing creative happy mail with me. 🥰
Thanks for the fun Profile based envelope from the Swap Tag! I especially love the folio that you packed everything in!

Hello, Ana!!
I have been to Spain last year for field trips! The place i choose to research for this class is Santiago de Compostela. Really want to re-visit. Do you have any recommendations of beautiful church in Northern Spain ?
Have a great day -Autumn
Newbie Friendly - Profile Hello #7 Hello Ana, We are preparing for winter here in the southern part of the state of Maine in the US. We typically have temperatures averaging 0C with snow every few days, totaling about 2m. Of course, it doesn't get that deep as some melts and it packs down. They get more inland but we are 8 km from the ocean, which tempers it some. I am wondering if this is at all like your winters as we are at about the same latitude. I look forward to winter as I enjoy snowshoeing and am not bothered by the cold. I also feed the birds and like to watch them through the window. I am most happy that we have had five different species of woodpecker for several years now. In the summer, I keep flowering plants and milkweed for the hummingbirds and butterflies. I like working outside, around the yard and in the woods. I volunteer with the local conservation group maintaining trails. I am retired and have grown more conservative than I used to be but I am still politically active. I used to be active in the anti-Vietnam War and civil rights movements. Now I am work for Human, Women's, and LGBTQ+ Rights. I'm pretty new to Swap-bot too. I came for postcard swaps but have tried and enjoyed other swaps too. I am currently working on my first Zine. I like the crafting but most enjoy "meeting" the people. Best Wishes, Neal NRGordon

As I sip my coffee, in which I've recently become addicted to, I wonder if it's the maturing into my 30's that has changed my taste towards something that I used to loathe....for now, I leave you with a quote I found to share, "A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent."
