I'm a mixed media artist and dancer (partnered dances like the Lindy Hop and Blues). I love taking art classes of all kinds and trying out all the art materials I can get my hands on.

I love sending mail and have a few pen pals that I write to regularly, and also participate in Postcrossing and Artist Trading Card swaps.

I start working on swaps as soon as they are assigned.

I love collaging, journaling, making mailable art, ATCs, postcards, letter-writing, making new pen pals, decorating envelopes, papercrafting, bookbinding, mixed media, watercolor, alcohol ink, die cutting, making cyanotypes and gelli printing. Hope to spend more time practicing drawing and linocutting/stamp carving.

I mostly listen to jazz and pop. Some songs I have been listening to more lately: Sara Bareilles - Gravity, Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek, Gorden Webster - Mo' Better Blues, Surfaces - Sunday Best, Ray Brown Trio, Ray Bryant, Ray Charles.

Snail Mail by Michelle Mackintosh, Real Fast Food by Nigel Slater, Collage Your Life by Melanie Mowinski. I mostly read non-fiction these days and the last audiobook I finished was How to Keep House while Drowning by KC Davis.

Anything postal themed like: postage stamps, rubber and clear stamps, non sticky memo papers, stickers, name tag labels, mailing labels (basically anything with a frame), anything Tim Holtz, postcards, washi tape, Clear PET tapes with floral, vintage and people-themed designs, mini coin envelopes, glassine envelopes, sticker or die-cut flowers, birds, butterflies, phrases, old book pages and ledger pages with writing on them and other interesting papers like flash cards, bingo cards, library cards, library pockets, vintage tickets and ephemera, pens, journaling supplies, vintage children's books, maps, vintage stationery, dies, embossing folders, travel themed patterned papers, watercolor, vintage tins, traveler's notebook accessories, watercolor palettes, mini brads, eyelets and art supplies.

I really like vintage bird, fish, butterfly, moths & botanical illustrations and hope to be able to draw them well one day. Ferns are a favorite motif of mine.

Colors: I love a mint green (like light phthalo green) and anything blue green, hot pink, Payne's grey, olive greens, and lavender and purple and dislike orange and warm colors in general.

Sweets: I love gummy, sour candies and chocolate.

I love chai, matcha, Thai tea, dessert flavored roobios teas, black tea, cinnamon, and barely tea. There may be more I enjoy that I haven't tasted yet!
