Aloha, my name is Katara Riana and I am a 28 year old living in Salt Lake County with my husband Adrien and our Cocker Spaniel, Lula Cabula. I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii but have lived in Central Louisiana where I went to college at Northwestern State University for my Bachelors in Hospitality in Management & Tourism. I have also lived in Anaheim, California where I was a Disney Cast Member for a few years after high school and Orlando, Florida where I participated in the Disney College Program.

I have been on SwapBot regularly since Halloween of 2016 but now only log in around the holiday season (Halloween - New Years). I put a lot of thought and time into my letters and packages and would love a partner that does the same.

My hobbies include budgeting and cash envelope stuffing, writing letters to my penpals, participating in swaps, traveling, going to the gym, petting strangers dogs and shopping for clothing & makeup. I have recently got back into reading which I haven't done since college.

My favorite types of books are romance novels with plot, murder mysteries and thrillers.

Ideal penpals will:

Be able to read and write in English fluently.

Keep spelling and grammatical errors to a minimum.

Use stationary other than folder or plain white printer paper.

Hand write all letters.

Live in the United States. (Although I am open to other countries the US is preferred for shipping cost purposes)

Be similar in age.

Have somewhat similar hobbies and/or interests.

and last but not least be a consistent and courteous penpal

Some things I would enjoy to receive in swaps include:

Anything dog related! Specifically Cocker Spaniel but I love all dogs (Fun fact: I have 2 dog tattoos)

Veterinary Medicine items: I am a vet tech and love vet med merchandise.

Travel items; Fridge Magnets or Postcards (specifically ones that's say where they are from on the front i.e A postcard that says Welcome to Dallas or Greetings from the Hoover Dam) that showcase something special about your hometown or state or other places that you have visited on vacation. Please fill them out on the back by writing a little something about the location on the card (unless the swap specifies them to be blank) Other examples include fridge magnets (I collect them), bumper stickers, maps, park or attraction admission tickets, buttons or pins or T-Shirts ( I wear a Mens Large and a Womens XL - I prefer Mens shirts much roomier and I like the fit).

Stickers and Stamps; I enjoy and can use all kinds of stickers and stamps (rubber stamps and postage stamps) whether they be tiny or large, cheap or not, homemade or store bought. I enjoy kawaii or cute stickers the best. I love letter stickers and kiddie/reward stickers are A-okay with me too. Anything I can use to decorate envelopes with.

Disney! Anything Disney especially Disney Theme Park exclusive merchandise or holiday/limited edition items. My favorite characters are Mickey and Lady from Lady and the Tramp. I love Disney pins and pressed coins.

Coloring books and color pencils/thin markers (that do not bleed): For coloring books I prefer interesting unique books with more complex themes, specifically for teens- adults.

Stationery; My favorite color is baby pink or baby blue. I love pastels or floral prints. I enjoy kawaii or cutesy prints too. I love Holiday stationery for all holidays. I enjoy when the stationery comes in a set with matching envelopes.

Office supplies; Cute journals, stationery, interesting non standard paperclips, push pins, paper tape, post its, rubber bands anything I can use for pen paling or swapping.

Washi tape; Please only send paper tape. I love floral/cactus theme, food themed, holiday themed or kawaii/cutesy theme. The more "feminine" the better.

Gift Cards: Target, Starbucks (I enjoy blank or empty Starbucks cards as well if they are state specific or interesting/rare) Dutch Bros, Michaels, Amazon, TJ Maxx, Marshalls

Sanrio; Little Twin Stars, Rillakkuma, Jewel Pets, My Melody and Kerropi are my favorite Sanrio characters.

Snacks & candies; I STRONGLY DISLIKE CHOCOLATES - they melt and are messy. Sour candy is my favorite. Gums and mints are good too.

Coffee and Teas; I am not a loose leaf tea kinda girl but will take packets/satchels. Any type of coffee is good.

Starbucks Coffee, Starbucks Gift Cards (even if they are empty- since I collect them), YAH (You Are Here) or BTS (been there series) mugs, Tumblers, Anything Starbucks (or Teavana)

Chocolate.

Religious things; (ie. The lord's prayer, or crosses) Political things (i.e. campaign Buttons, or "I voted stickers") Also talking about politics, I'm not a Trump supporter and I don't really want to get into that.

Used items; I don't want your unusable craft supplies. Or your magazine or news paper clippings. I especially don't want your coupons for food items. (Although I will gladly take coupons for Michaels, Target or Ulta/Sephora other Sale coupons (20% of entire purchase or BOGO -Clothing Makeup) Also Washi samples are good and I don't consider used items)

Craft items; I do not knit/sew or decoupage. I'm not crafty in the slightest so please do not send crafting materials such as ribbon or yarn.

Confetti, PLEASE I BEG YOU DONT DO IT. If it's a profile based swap I won't give you a heart. I HATE confetti all over the place
