My main goal, and the reason I joined Swap-bot, was to receive snail mail! I moved a lot as a child and developed a few good pen pals among my friends and relatives. As time went by, I lost many of my snail mail peeps to social media and such. So sad! I developed a real love of snail mail, and I still love going to my mailbox and finding actual mail! Not ads, bills or catalogs.
I am extremely easy to please. I love swapping, and I am happy to receive anything you have taken the time to send. :) I don't want anyone to feel pressure when sending me a swap. For me, it's all about getting mail!
I ALWAYS send my swaps, so if you did not get a swap from me, something went wrong! My 5.0 attest to how seriously I take swapping. Please let me know you did not get what I sent, and I will be sure to make it right. I have participated in several journal swaps as well. I always send on time, and I put consistent effort in my journals. If you are hosting a journal swap, you can rest assured, I am reliable, and I will send my journal on time!
My hobbies are sending all kinds of snail mail, creating journals, zines and mail art. I am very careful not to over commit myself, so I only sign up for swaps I know I can put significant effort into. I wish I had time for more, because mail, journals and zines are my creative outlet! Sometimes life gets busy, and I have to break from swapping, but I always come back!!! Having said that, I am not a creative genius! LOL! I do the best I can with what I have to work with! That's why I am very forgiving and easy going with swaps. I know everyone is coming from a different perspective; I would never be judgmental of any swap I received.
Items I especially love to swap are: journals, zines, mail art, stickers, labels, Post-Its, cute paper clips, memo sheets, washi tape, rubber stamped images, patterned paper, embellishments, ephemera, stationary, postcards (any type), vintage items, and basically anything I can use to scrapbook, journal or create mail art. :D
Other items: Fun Ban-Aides, lip balm, pocket sized anything (i.e. wet wipes, tissue, lotions, etc.), seasonal items.
Most of the books I read are non-fiction and related to journaling or are motivational in some way, but I also like historical novels. A couple of my favorite books are "How to Make a Journal of Your Life" and "Good Mail Day".
My favorite movies are typically romantic comedies, action adventure and some mystery/suspense as long as it's not about aliens or demons.
Scrap books, junk journals, smash books, zines and mail art.

Hey! I wanted to ask about the book you used for the small journal. Where did you get it from? I've been using the sewn binding, mainly because I didn't think I would like the ring/wire bound type. But man-surprise me-I DO! It's....smoother. If that makes any sense at all...ha!
