We’re a fresh-married couple who lives under the Switzerland’s border, surrounded by the northern Italian lakes. Our names are Andrea (or Andrew, in English: it turned out to be not-so-easy to understand that I'm a male) and Serena, my wife. We’re both 23. We own a 3 years old lovely cat called Ariel, she’s our little princess and she completes our family. We love our historical city and we enjoy our life here but we also dream to travel more. I’m an assistant machinist employed in a multinational industry and then my wife is a housewife, instead. Actually she’s waiting the calling to start the firefighting academy.

In our spare time we like to find new ideas for decorating our tiny apartment, take a trip anywhere anytime we can, play with our cat, take pictures, writing and drawing, read books, try new foods and restaurants, watch tv shows in bed or movies at cinemas, playing video games, creating new fashion styles, planning and crafting and then, most of all, having cuddles.

We’re managing this profile together. We love sending and receiving mail so swapping has became one of our favourite hobbies. Currently we’re interested only into European swaps (regional or private) and have recently made our first step further hosting our ones too.

We firmly believe in this activity as a form of altruism and source of gratification: a small present that comes from the heart can turn the day of each of us. That’s why we always put all our efforts in everything we do. We want you to feel special through something that’s been made (and picked) especially for you.

We always will contact you to clarify any doubt we have before shipping. Relating that, we always send swaps with a value higher than 5€ via registered mail, a bit expensive way which allows you to receive faster your parcel and it's also safer from a possibility of loss.

After gained awareness of that we became really picky when it's up to join a swap; so that's the main reason we rather to host swaps.

We got burned many times while joined a swap in which the host doesn't really care about setting up guidelines and requirements or who doesn't care about correctly vetting the subscribed users... it could be really frustrating, much more being a newbie, if you can't trust neither in the one who's hosting the swap in which you're in who also has the main responsibility to safeguard the swap's course at all its stages! So you know, as anything else in the world, you need to experience that before finally learn how to look for good hosts (and their swaps).

We strongly believe that being a good host is a very great responsibility and also means caring about your work, don't only "write down something and push buttons". We care about keeping our swaps as flaker-free as possible so everyone who's going to join them will free safer exactly as we should first. By setting specific parameters and guidelines and also ensuring that all those who joined are respecting them before, we really do our best before assigning the partners.

We can't control what people is going to send but we can control the senders! You also will have all the help you need before and after sending/receiving the parcel so please don't hesitate to ask, whatever doubt you have.

We really wish that this site will be a safer place soon thanks also to these small acts and to all of you beautiful and honest people out there, too. Maybe we're still younger already but we chose to believe in the human race.

• cuddles, pet sweaters (size S), pet blankets, bells, shiny or sound toys, wool balls and fish snacks.

• We love milk and white chocolate (also with nuts, caramel, cookies, pistachios and raspberries).
• We rather gummy strawberry candies, toffee milk and caramel and frizzy sour cola candies. We also like spearmint, cola and cherry chewing-gums.
• For savory snacks we like peanuts, not spicy chips and microwave popcorns (NO cheese/butter, YES to salty, caramel or choco).

Regarding Tea

We rather green or white tea. We also drink these flavored black tea: vanilla, peach, blueberry and some herbal ones. Our favorite brands are Twining's, Pickwick & L'Angelica. Chamomile and sleepytime are always welcome too.

NO THANKS: orange, honey, apple, currant, citrus, rosemary, liquorice, mint, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric and fennel, earl grey.

We follow Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Justice, and Chicago Med as well. Dr. House, Mr. Robot, The Vampire Diaries & The Originals series. We also like The OC, Gossip Girl, Ghost Whisperer, Desperate Housewives and CSI Miami.

We collect a lot of blu-ray’s (Disney & Dreamworks movies especially). We love Harry Potter. Our favourite actors are: Robert Downey JR, Jude Law, Robert Pattinson & Adam Sandler. Our favourite actresses are Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Blake Lively.

We personally dislike used items. Just because we like vintage stuff, it doesn't mean we like garbage so please be sure to read carefully through our lists.

We enjoy only well-made handmade items so if you're not sure please ask to us before start crafting or buying anything. If you're not going to send handmade items as extras, firstly be sure you're respecting the directions the swap requires. ~~~ Check our DIY project boards (go to the top > see below our Swap-bot ID) for introducing into our likes and get inspired. We tried to pin really many different things for any crafter - practiced or beginner, and for any wallet too.
