I'm married with my youth soulmate, we've known eachother for 30 years now. I'm 53 y.o. We have 2 sons, they're 26 and 23, and were active BMX'ers. We live in a small village in the Northeast of Holland, in summer we have triple as much inhabitants as normal. It's a very nice place to live (sometimes too busy in summer). I work at an advertising agency, as a media-advisor (but we're only with 5, so I do a lot more than that).

We love to travel together, take lots of pictures/less films, to be active on our bikes (BMX, ATB).

We're all very creative persons, my husband's a graphic designer (his second love is TinTin or Kuifje), our oldest son wants to become a product designer, and other things like that, the youngest one is the 'computer nerd', he wants to be a creative filmmaker. And I'm creative in all kinds of ways: scrapbooking (all the pictures we've made), crocheting, sewing, knitting, cross stitching. As a kid -and when my kids were little ones- I used to make the clothings of my dolls, make bags, my own clothing, pillows, blankets and much more. Nowadays I don't have the time to sit behind my sewing machine, unfortunately.

What I love, is to start the day with a cup of tea (I prefer the fruit flavours), then look at the news. Mostly a quick run through the house (I hate housholds, but I'm very fond of the results, when I'm ready ;-) ).After that the administration if needed, or the (dish)washing if necessary. Then it's ME-time! If I don't work... At this time I love to snailmail, sometimes with long letters, but always with a party for your mailbox.

The things I love about snailmail, is the personal touch of it. My favorite things: - stationery, notebooks, washi tape, (postal) stamps, ribbons, patterned papers - vintage, Kuifje (or TinTin or TenTen or Tim, the Belgian reporter with his white dog Bobbie, Milou or Snowy), poppy flowers, sunflowers, all colorful flowers; - I love the VW-Van T1/T2 (it's our oldest son's favorite: he wants it from age 4...he's still saving money to buy -I hope, he will fit in it, 'cause he's 1.90 m. tall-) - scrapbook style: Tim Holtz, Graphic 45, Basic Grey, that kind of stuff; - little parts of watches, little sewing things; - the colors I like: red, white, orange, sunflower-yellow, colors that fit together, black-and-white, sepia, vintage colors;

All the 60's, 70's, 80's music, pop, rock, sometimes ballads,Dutch, I love music on the background when cleaning, being creative.

I love the books of Dan Brown, detectives (mostly paperbacks on vacation), James Bond, chicklits, smooth stories now and then.

Love seeing with my kids: Fast & Furious, they are extreme sporters. Also love the James Bond movies, love stories, Disney movies -saw them all, love Disney-, no scary movies, yes action movies.

CSI, NCIS, Bones, love it! Detective series, house makeovers, interior series, National Geografic, Discovery Channel.

I love scrapbooking, sewing, crocheting, stationery, Postcrossing, snailmailing, reading and writing. Love (postage) stamps, quotes, vintage, colorful (if it fits together, I like it), nice ideas to make a postal envelope a party in your mailbox.

I love GF, mailboxes, vintage postcards, (old) map postcards, bikes, typewriters, Inge Löök (it's in the name), Dick Bruna, old advertising cards, old (movie-, music-)stars (B&W or color), poppies, recipe cards.
