My name is Yana.

Mum of two kids. School teacher. Music and movies lover. Postcard and other pleasant things swapper. Foreign languages lover. Royal family admirer. Travelling dreamer:)

I am trying to involve my 6 y.o. son into learning English, geography, and the world.. swapping with native or non-native English speakers helps me much.

I have received mail from 40 countries so far. I would be extremely glad to have some new countries in this list..:)

I hope that some day I will talk to my kids in English, travel more, bake tasty cakes, adopt a blue grey cat and have my own writing table in the flat😎

Most of all I love national motives on postcards and everything that characterizes your country and nation. State and national symbols, beautiful nature views, village houses, typical buildings, urban areas, traditional items and native people, castles... Please, let me see your surroundings or country without travelling there..:)

Also some beautiful colourful illustrations (no cartoons, please) are welcomed!

💖 My special and the most favourite postcards-maxicards-stamps collection is the British Royal family.💖 Recently I received a letter from Buckingham Palace and two postcards from Kensington Palace...💖

PLEASE I prefer you wouldn't send local postcards from your region blank!) I really prefer them only WRITTEN. Naked or in an envelope. Nice stamps if possible:)

Any unique or just simple thing that can remind or tell me about your region or country..

I love everything for mail art and decorating: stickers, washi tape samples, scrap sheets, other stationary..

I like all the staff about learning/teaching English. Or anything I can show to my kid how English is used in everyday life.. Booklets, magazine or newspaper pages, children books, menu, transport tickets, boardgames, touristic ads, etc.

I am a big tea-coffee fan. I don't have any special favourites, but not simple green, red or black tea.

I don't mind any other pleasant thing that you want to send and surprise me)*

No special art gifts or abilities.:) but when I have free time I love doing some mail art --} decorating postcards and envelopes, letters and notes, making collages, bookmarks, window decorations, home calendars... Recently I tried to draw doodle pictures. I liked it!
