I love to hula hoop! I'm on a Roller Derby team. My derby name is "Harmony Hellmouth". Other loves: Buffy the Vampire Slayer!! Willie, Waylon, George, Merle, Hank Williams 3, NOFX, tattoos, crazy stuff, postcards, cats, birds, garden, books, surprises, candy, stickers, kawi, exploring cemeteries, and doing genealogy. I volunteer at the local historical society.

I have really been procrastinating my own genealogy for about several years now. That's why my genealogy blog is out dated. Though I still enjoy breezing through Findagrave .

I participate in postcrossing.com, and redditgifts.com. I like to waste time on Pinterest too. I just discovered the "letter writer's alliance and the "victorian letter writter's guild."

I'm almost 44 years old. I love sending and receiving letters, postcards and ,presents!

Along with Pig the dog, I have a cat, Noodles a ball python named Omar, 2 budgies Hutchy & Taserface & a husband.

My favorite music is Outlaw Country, and "old" country from the 60s and 70s. Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and of course George Jones! I have a mission to see all the greats who are still touring before they die, as I missed George Jones by a few weeks! I've seen Willie, Merle, Billy Joe Shaver, David Allan Coe, Ralph Stanley, Charlie Daniels and Dolly Parton! Although they aren't "old" country the band Alabama has a special place in my heart. They are my mom's most favorite band and she has seen them in concert about 8 or 9 times. I have seen them with her 2 times, plus toured Fort Payne AL .

I have small collections of weird purses. One looks like a Cardinal, a bag of popcorn, a teapot, a couple of stuffed animal dogs. I have some vintage basket purses too. I just hate normal "professional" looking purses.

I love interesting placemats and napkins. I also really like beautiful table cloths. We never eat dinner at the table, but I still like having them and decorating with them.

I collect old photographs from 1845 to about 1920s. I just hate seeing photographs at antique stores or thrift stores. I wish I could buy them all. I make them all my "instant relatives". I do my own genealogy though, so I am careful to keep the bought photographs separate as to not confuse future generations.

I have a very small collection of "pie birds". I can't find them anywhere. I look in antique stores. I have 2 black birds and 1 red bird. I have one that is actually a snowman and one that is a squirrel. I have a 3 headed bird too!

I don't like licorice. I don't care for religious or political stuff. Other than that I can find joy in the little things.
