Hi there! I live in San Francisco with my husband and 7 year old daughter. My daughter is totally my best friend and I love playing and just hanging out with her. I have grown up best friends too and love going to brunch or getting a cup of tea with them. I work in the beauty industry and love all beauty products.

I recently joined postcrossing and I am really enjoying it. I started searching out similar sites which is how I found swap-bot and I can't wait to get started! I really love that there are sites like this.

I collect Blythe Dolls, a hobby that I share with my daughter. Between the two of us, we have 14. You can see them on my flickr. I also love unicorns, gnomes and My Little Pony (G4!). And I just started collecting weird mugs, particularly mugs that are shaped like animal or people heads. I am coveting a Matt Smith one that will be released soon. :)

I like to read YA in the sci fi/fantasy realm. I read sci fi/ fantasy or magical realism for adults too. I am currently reading A Storm of Swords. I also really love children's books.

Some of my all time favorite books are the His Dark Materials trilogy (Golden Compass), The Name of the Wind, Peter Pan, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Tale of Despereaux, The Little Prince and Who Will Comfort Toffle?

Amelie, Harold and Maude, Triplets of Belleville, The Last Unicorn, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Wizard of Oz, The Science of Sleep, The Princess Bride, Umbrellas of Cherbourg.

DOCTOR WHO!!!!!

I also love anything Bryan Fuller, especially Pushing Daisies. Pushing Daisies is my other favorite show besides Doctor Who.

I love BBC's Sherlock and I just started watching BBC America's Orphan Black. I am getting really into it. Also, Avatar: LAst Air Bender, Legend of Korra and Star Trek: The original series.
