I am a Christian, happily retired with my husband and we are celebrating 52 years of marriage in 2021. We live in a 124-year old farmhouse on the waters off the Chesapeake Bay in the state of Virginia. I have two handsome sons, two beautiful daughters-in-love, and six delightful grandchildren.

FAVORITE MUSIC: I enjoy listening to smooth jazz, classical, Enya, Randy Adrian, 2002, Deuter, and ERA.

FAVORITE BOOKS: Everybody Always by Bob Goff, and I enjoy fictional books that have a basic underlying Christian theme especially those written by Francine Rivers or Karen Kingsbury.

FAVORITE MOVIES: Movies that I have on my favorite list include: Out of Africa, Fried Green Tomatoes, Blind Side, Gifted Hands, A Walk in the Woods, Hidden Figures.

FAVORITE TV: I don't watch much TV, but NCIS is enjoyable, and Downton Abbey was my all time favorite.

FAVORITE CRAFTS: I have a passion for mail art. I enjoy creating collage postcards and/or ATCs, RoloArt cards, and making my own envies or embellishing store-bought ones. I'm always on the search for any supplies that would help me with this fun endeavor.

I love to play in the dirt in my flower beds, collect sea glass while strolling beaches, bird watching, shopping for antiques or vintage paper ephemera or anything postal. I jump at the chance to hike a few miles on the AT or any mountain/woodland trail.

Blue and yellow are my favorite colors, but I also enjoy lavender, purple and green.

WHAT MAKES ME SMILE: a letter from someone or an artsy piece of snail mail in my mailbox, polka dots of any color, a new fountain pen, lovely printed paper napkins, postal themed mounted rubber stamps, small border stickers, rub-ons, postal themed stickers, cancelled postage stamps from any country, Japanese washi tape, old hand-written letters, old road maps, vintage black & white photos, illustrations from old storybooks for children(1960's or older), anything to do with chickens, vintage wrapping paper, old office supplies (labels, seals, etc.), vintage greeting cards (Valentine's, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.) at least 40 years old, handmade postcards....anything vintage, vintage, vintage :>

THINGS I AM NOT INTERESTED IN: ~~ anything to do with vampires, witches, tattoos, zombies, nudes, fairies ~~ cutesy stuff, hello kitty ~~ candy, food ~~ Disney items ~~ buttons or brads of any kind ~~ yarn, ribbon ~~ touristy postcards,but I LOVE handmade ones or vintage ones 50 yrs or older
