I am a Christian. I attend church regularly and volunteer with Children's Ministries on occasion.

I am married. My husband is my best friend. Love him to pieces. No man-bashing here! And he's a great dad.

I have 2 kids. My little girl is 5 and has an out of control sweet-tooth. If she could figure out how to live off cupcakes and ice cream, she would. My son is 3 and loves jumping and cars. The kid will jump off anything.

I have a black cat. She's got a tiny head and a huge body. I joke that she's got a thyroid problem. My dad calls her "the tick." She's 12 years old, and amazingly patient with my kids. I think I've loved her more these past 2 years than I did in all the 10 before.

I like: stars, glass, fabric, stuff for my kids (he likes cars and trains, she likes glitter and princesses), quotes, fortune cookie fortunes, Peach Iced Tea, Bento, chocolate chip cookies, science, Christmas (but not Santa), fall scents, baking, buttons, bright colors, Sharpies, chocolate, striped socks. I don't really collect anything, except fabric, especially bright colors- I'll find a use for it, one day!

I'm a SAHM (former chemistry teacher)- my creative outlets are making cute snacks for my kids, doing crafts with my kids, and making unsolicited gifts for friends.

Dislikes: coffee, vulgarity, lace, floral scents, seafood, Halloween

I have recently discovered kpop (Korean pop music), my favorites are CNBlue, Block B, FT Island, Super Junior, 2PM, and more!

I also listen to Christian (Third Day, Tenth Avenue North) and Country (Zac Brown Band) and Top 40 music (Adele, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Mumford & Sons)

I read a lot of YA fiction- Hunger Games, Divergent, Twilight, Uglies, The Mortal Instruments, etc.

I also read a lot of Christian Romance, primarily Historical Fiction. I got a lot of it for free on my Kindle. I won't pay more than 99 cents for it. It's my brain candy. My guilty pleasure.

I watch Korean dramas (on either dramafever.com or viki.com). My favorites so far are: Secret Garden, Marriage Not Dating, You Are Beautiful, School 2013, Liar Game, Monstar, and Personal Taste

American TV that I still watch: Grey's Anatomy, Top Chef, …

I have craft ADD, but I tend to stick to fiber arts. I like my sewing machine and my crochet hook. I'm a total self-taught beginner with both. My mom tried to get me into quilting- still haven't finished one. I've got 3 badly made quilt tops waiting to be sandwiched and bound- hopefully I'll get around to that someday. I've decided that I like small projects that I can finish in about a day or so. I get bored if I don't see a lot of immediate progress, and crocheting a blanket, for instance, doesn't give me the sense of accomplishment that a quick hat does. :) I like to try new things- and honestly, just about everything is new at this point.
