Update March 10, 2017: On December 5, 2016 my son Drew passed away. Since his death I have not participated in any swaps and I have not been very active here. I've missed everyone and in an effort to find some sort of normal again I will slowly start participating in swaps again. Those of you who know me and have sent cheery and heartfelt messages and mail, thank you. I appreciate the kind words and take comfort in knowing someone is thinking of me. I'm looking forward to swapping with you all again soon.

Hi, My name is Rose. I'm 42 years old and I live in Upstate New York. I have 3 kids. My twin boys are 23 and my daughter is 20. The years flew by much to fast and it's hard to believe they are almost all grown up. In my spare time I enjoy crafting and writing pen pal letters. I found Swap-bot and I've loved it since day one. I enjoy sending snail mail. One of the best parts of my day is checking my mailbox to see if there is any Happy mail in it.

As of April 2015 I'm learning about Pocket letters and I enjoy making them. I also enjoy card making, ATC's, decorating my stationary to write on, fixing up thrift store finds, and doing other crafts that look fun. I'm addicted to Pinterest.com and that's where I get my inspiration from. There are so many cool crafts I want to make on there.

I'm happy with pretty much anything I receive. If I can use it for crafts or pen palling that's a huge plus.

If I'm in a sticker swap with you I like seasonal and cute stickers. I also love stickers I can use in my Planner. I prefer flat stickers but if you have some puffy ones if you send them and I cannot use them I'll pass them along to my little niece who loves stickers. Please do not send any teacher or reward stickers. I do not use those at all.

I always mail out my swaps on time. If you don't receive a swap from me please let me know and I'll re-send. I mark my swaps sent on the day I mail them. If I mark a swap sent on Sunday or on a holiday it's in the mailbox to be mailed out the next day.

If I send you a swap I'd appreciate a rating so I at least know you received what I sent.

• Flakers- If you sign up for a swap You are obligated to send your partner a swap. I have a very low tolerance for members who flake on their swap partners.

• Non Raters- It's very frustrating to put time and effort into a swap and then have to sit around and wonder whether or not your swap partner received it. The Polite and right thing to do is rate your partners.

• People who don't communicate: If I send someone a private message it's common courtesy to at least respond and acknowledge you've read my message. I believe communication is a major part of swap-bot.
