Hello, I am Marloes, I am married and we have two boys. I work in a library as a children's librarian. I do programmes with schoolclasses that visit the library, I give workshops at schools, we organise a lot of activities. I love my job! And no day is the same.

Hobbies

I love mail! I like nice stamps too, I collected as a child with my dad and I picked up my old hobby again. My favourites are: Mushrooms Birds (especially owls), Butterflies, Flowers, Lighthouses, Animals, Children's stamps, Book related stamps, Mail related stamps. I swap stamps in www.100stamps.club and EUROPA stamps on postcards in www.europapostcards.club. It’s really nice! I love to write to my penpals and I love doing Postcrossing. I like ClubYoga, dancing, running, swimming, reading (literature and children's books, no thrillers & fantasy) and reading to my children, baking, crafting. I like writing on my old typing machine. I love to go to a restaurant and to the sauna with my husband.

Likes

I like owls, birds, children's book illustrations, tea, lighthouses, mountains. I love the airmail theme (envelopes & labels). I like to snailmail, making envelopes and cards and journaling. I like rubber stamps (Cats on appletrees) and washi tape.

Books and movies

I like all Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling, "Tschick" by Wolfgang Herrendorf, "Unterleuten” and “Über Menschen” by Juli Zeh, I mostly read children's books because of my work and I don't have enough time to read "for myself". My favourite YA writer is Susin Nielsen. My favourite childrens book illustrator is Charlotte Dematons.

My favourite movie is “Wonderstruck” after Brian Selznicks book,

I speak dutch, german, english and french, and I’m learning Portuguese and Spanish, so please don't write automatically in english.
