My favourite sci-fi author is Terry Pratchett, also Anne McCaffree (I love her dragon books).

sci-fi, but not horror (although I enjoyed the Predator movies), rom-coms, a good thriller (all the Jack Ryan movies), fantasy of any kind (loved "Pan's Labyrinth"), action movies where there is not too much gratuitous violence, all Clint Eastwood movies, Morgan Freeman, Sandra Bullock

comedies, CSI (all of them), all the sci-fi series, Top Gear, all the documentary channels, BBC Entertainment channel

paper crafts, knitting, sewing, crochet, soft dolls, mixed media canvas work

embellishments of all kinds, nice decorative papers, packaging items of any kind, embossing things (have just bought myself a Cuttlebug), making paper flowers, making smelly things for the bathroom (bath salts,soaps etc), anything with texture
