3/322-I know that no one has heard from me, but after being home for just a couple of days, I have returned to the hospital. The doctors hope to send me home this next week, but they are being cautious. I’ve been having GI problems which has lead to minimal eating. I also am super fatigued. They have found issues with my sodium level, electrolytes, and some bad distress in my GI tract. I’m working hard to get back home as soon as possible. Thank You so much for your understanding and patience.

28/22-I arrived home last Friday from being in Rehabilitation for my knee. I continue to receive therapy for my knee at home. I PROMISE all those who are waiting for a late swap from me, will receive them. I also will complete all ratings. I ask for your patience and understanding. AFTER I COMPLETE ALL JOBS LISTED ABOVE, I WILL BE LEAVING SWAP-BOT AND NOT RETURNING. I KNOW I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE AND THEN COME BACK. THIS TIME I WILL NOT RET. 30/22– I’m so sorry I haven’t rated your swap. However, I’ve been in the hospital and am now in a Rehab Facility. I had a total knee replacement on Jan. 24th. As a result, I’m not getting my mail everyday. Instead, I will be working on swap ratings when I get home, which hasn’t been determined. So, I appreciate your understanding and patience. 9//24/2021--I am leaving Swap-bot after a bad year here.There have just been too many hits towards me and I'm done. I don't need the stress and I can't have the stress for my own health. I hope there are some of you who appreciated what I did and sent to you. I will miss many of you! .Happy Swapping! I will fulfill my commitments to swaps I need to complete.

8/11/21--I continue to be challenged health wise. My appointment with my doctor just yesterday was a very difficult one. While in the hospital, the physician that worked with me understood what happened, but still not clear "Why it happened?" So, the next several months are going to be hard. I'm going to continue Swap-bot as it is one of the things that keeps me going. I love meeting new swappers and creating in the world. Thank You for sticking with me and sharing your kindness, patience, and understanding. More News Soon, I hope!

8/3/21–I need to apologize that I haven’t sent any swaps for any of the current swaps happening on swap. However, I have been in the hospital and been unable to do any type of work. I hope to start catching up on swaps I/O people this coming next week. So I say that is August 9 through the 15th. This was very unexpected and could have meant additional serious medical problems and even seizures and death. So I ask with an open heart and a Swap-bot record which is a caring and responsible record, please give me the time to complete each swap so that you receive a swap that is consistent with the kinds of swaps I usually send. Thank you for your understanding and patience with me. Thank you for giving me the time I need to heal, rest, and time to just get well. I went into the hospital on 7/31/21-8/2/21.

7/31/21–This is the best time I’ve had today to communicate with my partners after not being able to complete the swaps that were to go out today and next week. I have been struggling since But I felt I would be doing better and have been working on swaps that were due to go out today July 31 or any swaps for next week. However, I had to spend about 12 or hours in the ER last night and I have been asked to see my primary care doctor on Monday. I am hoping as the next few days get better each day even if I am not back too full ability. Right now, I am just spending lots of time in bed and trying to sleep whenever I can. I have been dealing with a serious headache since last night when I got home and have tried to make progress since yesterday. I see my doctor on Monday afternoon. I hope that I will get some good help with my primary doctor on Monday and I hope over the weekend things do better. So, I asked for your patience, understanding and and give me time to get back on my feet. I don’t know how long this is going to take until I see my doctor Monday but please know that I will do my very best to get things to you as soon as I am able. The time since my surgery has been hard and Haven’t been recuperating as fast as it was hoped. I Will do my very best to keep you apprised of my situation. The other parts that I can’t get done at this time is my readings for some of you please know that I will do my very best to get those done in a timely manner but again I will not know yes I will be able to get To know if I can complete those until after my appointment on Monday have a wonderful weekend and I will be in touch as soon as possible.

7/25/21--Thank you, to many of you for your prayers and kind words that you have shared with me over the last couple of months. I am doing some better, but still needing some more progress. I also am dealing with intense pain in my right knee that makes it super hard for me to walk, bend my knee less than 90 degrees, lifting my foot off the ground, and by evening time the pain is a 10+. That 10+ comes in the evening whether I stay off except for things that can't wait or I'm up on it all day with any activity. I'm waiting for an appt. with my primary doctor and am waiting for a call from the Orthopedic practice. I think this is an issue across the country, having to wait to see almost any kind of doctor, a month or more isn't unusual. More News when I find out what is happening in my knee which is running down the back of my lower leg and up into the outer side of my thigh. Also, many mornings I get up on my feet and I soon have pain in the top of my foot.

6/3/21--I am still struggling after the surgery in April. I have other medical issues that can contribute negatively to recovery, as well as, how I feel on a daily basis. I continue to keep up with the swaps. I'm a little behind on ratings, but those will be caught up over this weekend. I ask that you continue to be Patient and Understanding. 4/21/21–I am writing this message to let everyone know that I had surgery this past Monday. Two days later I went in to have my incisions checked and everything was fine. Today(Wednesday) I went in to have my staples removed. The last 3days I have not felt real good and my sister helped change my bandages. On Sunday my sister removed the bandages put on by the doctor after my last visit. The bandages he put on caused me to break out and then blisters formed. As well, my incisions were a deep red and swollen. I have an infection and I need to FOCUS on getting well. So, I’m going to do my best to get ratings done and swaps done on time. However, the next few days, at least, are going to be my days. If I’m late with swaps, I will let you know. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME as I try to take care of myselfand as soon as I can do my work, I will do so. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

11/3/2020–The note below was written at the beginning of October. I was very upset because in two situations there was no communication when swaps were not received. I also said that I was going to leave Swap-Bot because of all that happened in October. However, I decided I wasn’t going to let those few ruin something I love to do. SO, I AM BACK! I AM READY TO GET STARTED! I WANT TO SHARE MY LOVE OF THIS SITE BECAUSE IT ALLOWS “ARTISTS” TO PICK SWAPS THAT PERMIT THEM TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES AND SHARE THEIR TALENTS BY JOINING SWAPS OR BY HOSTING SWAPS. I LOVE 💗 THIS SITE AND ALWAYS WILL! I AM BACK FOR MORE FUN!!!!

I have two 1s. One was given way back in my Swap-Bot career. I got in over my head and didn’t know how to do the art 🖼 that was asked. I tried several times but I could never get it to work. So, I wasn’t able to send my swap. The second 1 happened just recently in 2020. I was not contacted as far as I know that she didn’t receive it. I just recently tried to contact her so I could see about sending her another swap, but I did mention that this was all I could send because it cost a great deal to mail the package 📦 to the England. I received no return message. I have had no contact with this swapper. This was a swap I hosted. I would never not complete a swap I hosted!! So these are my explanations for my 1s.

The 3s I received are all from the early part of my swapping days on Swap-bot. The 3s were on bead swaps and my beads were ever so slightly smaller than what was requested. I wasn’t that far off.

I HAVE BEEN GONE FROM SWAP-BOT FOR ABOUT 9 MONTHS DUE TO A MOVE FROM ONE STATE TO ANOTHER. I SPENT ABOUT A MONTH WITH A FAMILY MEMBER BEFORE MOVING INTO MY APARTMENT. SHORTLY AFTER MOVING INTO MY APARTMENT, COVID-19 HIT AND BECAUSE OF THE KINDS OF GUIDELINES SET FORTH IN THE STATE I MOVED TO, I WAS RESTRICTED TO MY APARTMENT FOR ABOUT 6-WEEKS BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO START GOING OUT. HOWEVER, I WAS IN THE GROUP THAT COULD GET COVID-19 EASILY AND SO I CONTINUED TO REMAIN INDOORS. I ALSO DID NOT DO SWAP-BOT BECAUSE I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET TO THE POST OFFICE. BEFORE COVID-19 HIT, I HAD COMPLETED ALL THE SWAPS I HAD OUTSTANDING. THE LAST ONE I SENT WAS GOING TO EUROPE.

A FEW DAYS AGO I SIGNED UP FOR SEVERAL SWAPS THAT I WAS REALLY EXCITED ABOUT AS THEY WERE HISTORY ATCs. A DAY LATER I WAS BANNED BECAUSE OF SWAPS NOT COMPLETED OR LOW RATINGS. I WENT AND LOOKED ABOUT WHAT WERE NOT COMPLETED OR LOW RATINGS. I FOUND THAT THE POCKET LETTER, THE LAST SWAP I SENT BEFORE THE VIRUS HIT AND EVERYTHING SHUT DOWN NEVER MADE IT TO MY PARTNER. I ALSO HAVE THREE 3s. THEY WERE DONE WAY BACK IN 2007 WHEN I JUST STARTED SWAP-BOT. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANOTHER 3. IF YOU LOOK AT MY OVER ALL RECORD, I COMPLETE MY SWAPS AND I RECEIVE A 5 OR A 5 w/A ❤️. I WAS NEVER CONTACTED BY MY PARTNER ABOUT MY POCKET LETTER NOT MAKING IT TO ITS DESTINATION. I SENT A NOTE TO THE HOST OF HISTORY SWAP BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I JUST GOT AN INPERSONAL NOTE ABOUT WHY I COULDN'T DO THE HISTORY ATCs. I ALSO SENT A NOTE TO MY PARTNER FOR THE POCKET LETTER. I SHARED THAT I WOULD MAKE IT AGAIN AND SEND IT AGAIN. I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING. AS OF 10/8/20 I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE AT ALL.

I DROPPED MYSELF FROM ALL THE SWAPS I HAD SIGNED UP FOR JUST A FEW DAYS AGO. I THINK FOR NOW I WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING AS THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS ALL HAPPENED. WHEN I FIRST STARTED OUT ON THIS SITE BACK IN 2007, SWAPPERS, HOSTS, AND OTHERS WERE MUCH MORE WILLING TO CHECK THINGS OUT, GIVE PEOPLE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, ETC. I AM SORRY TO LEAVE THIS SITE BECAUSE I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES BUT I ALSO WILL NOT BE TREATED POORLY.

I am a former elementary school teacher who was placed on disability more than 20 years ago due to poor and serious health concerns. I am the aunt to 5 nephews and 4 nieces. One of my nieces is adopted and from Ethiopia. Her name is Mihret (mih-ret). I love making ATC, cards, Skinny cards, books, pocket letters, pen pal kits, and button fairies. I am now really spending a lot of time listening to Contemporary Country. I like Old Country too. Easy and Soft Rock is still the only kind of Rock I enjoy but I Have been really been enjoying Country for awhile. I also like Wyndam Hills music. I like folk music.
