Hello, my name is Saskia. I'm 30 years old and I live in Den Haag, internationally known as The Hague, in The Netherlands with my husband and a few pets. I'm a creative person who wants to try a lot of different hobbies and techniques. I'm currently mostly making cards, scrapbooks and gift packaging, working on an embroidery piece (cross-stich), writing short stories and drawing. I spend most of my free time writing letters and simultaneously listening to music or reading. Now I know this sounds like I never get out of the house, but that's not the case. I also have to mail my letters and packages. joking I love being outside, especially in parks, dunes and forests. With my husband I go geocaching quite often, which is a kind of "treasure hunting" (the kids' game) with a GPS-device. I've been to many beautiful and remote locations because of this hobby. My favourite colours are black and purple.

Music is very important in my life. A day without music is a sad day for me. I'm mostly into rock and metal music, but I'm not afraid to wander outside of those genres. I read a lot of supernatural novels (vampires, werewolves, witches), some thrillers and adventures and I'd like to read more classics. My favourite writers are Anne Rice, Charlaine Harris, Barbara Vine, Jean M. Auel, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karin Slaughter, Gillian Flynn, Laurell K. Hamilton, Kim Harrison, Janet Evanovich, Karen Marie Moning, Clive Barker, Kathy Reichs and Sarah Waters. I'm trying to find my way in the comic world as well, but it's not that easy.

It's hard to pick a few favourites, so I'll just share some movies that I enjoyed watching. I like anything related to any of the likes and hobbies above. I like dyed hair, tattoos and piercings. Artwork by Victoria Francés is highly appreciated. I'm very fond of black and white or pencil or charcoal drawings (or pictures of them). I like dark and creepy stuff, like zombies, ghouls, sidhe, vampires, werewolves, witches, but I also have a lighter side. I also like (colourful) fairies, art-deco type of art, Renaissance art, Victorian fine line ornamental and flower art, glittery things and anything ancient Egyptian. I would love to receive black, purple, olivegreen, teal or brown decotape. If you want to make me really happy, send me something to write on that's either black or has skulls, vampires, etc or personalised address labels that fit any of my likes. atyou Spica pens (the glittery kind) are great! Crafting supplies, such as paper, tape, ribbons, embellishments and little cross stitch kits are always welcome. I love writing letters, so stationery, deco and washi tape, notecards, stickers and memopads are always welcome. I absolutely love anything Halloween related!

I would love to receive postcards related to any of the things I mentioned before. Something I always aprreciate is a card with flowers or touristy type cards of the area you or anyone else live(s) in. The not so sweet kawaiinot cards are also very welcome, just like other cards that have (rude/adult) humorous phrases. I would really love some darker themed cards, like graveyards, (old) gothic/victorian paintings/photographs, black and white photos, mythical creatures. If you want to make me happy, include a Naughty Little People postcard :-).

Twilight,dragonflies, anything from my music, book or movies list, fairies, steampunk, zombies, True Blood, Dark versions of fairy tales, Victorian, Gothic, Goth, Marie Antoinette, gypsy, vampires and other mythical creatures, Renaissance paintings, the TV show LOST and anything dark and creepy.

At the moment caffeine free teas in the flavours I've mentioned below are what I would like best, because my husband can't have caffeine anymore and it is difficult for us to find flavoured teas without caffeine. I would prefer to not get any plain teas, like green tea, black tea, rooibos. I'd appreciate teas with fruity or spicy flavours the most. I really like cinnamon and honey and anything with red fruit, but other fruits and spices are welcome too. Recently someone sent me a Twinings Blackcurrant tea and I loved it. If you want to make me really happy, you could send me tea with blackcurrant or fennel.
