All I can say about the past two years is when life gives you lemons make lemonade. Due to medical issues I no longer make ATCs and do fiber arts, although I still do make some mini quilts and soap when able.
I'm an eclectic eccentric great grandma enjoying the golden years with my cats (and my SO). I practice Yoga, Reiki, aromatherapy, and other alternative health methods.
I'm a second-generation stamp collector and have been collecting both WW and US for 70+ years. I prefer stamps before the self-adhesive era as my world stamp album only goes to 1970. I really appreciate US stamps from 1975 to 2000 as I recently upgraded my US album. My US collection is complete from 1922 to 1974 and I have all special delivery and airmail to1974.
I don't send extras and I don't need any so please don't feel you have to send anything. I give hearts for honest effort not extras.
I don't care for politics, organized religion, dogs, avocados, and people who put exclamation points at the end of every sentence..
Folk/World music, 40s Big Band, Grateful Dead, Classic rock, Classical some Country
Don't like rap and heavy metal; mostly like music before 1975 or so.
Anything by Michener, especially liked The Source. I worked in libraries for almost 50 years so have read a lot. After I retired I put down the books and started living. Life is getting shorter every day. I do like time travel and historical novels but I consider historical to be at least 100 years in the past; not 1970.
Anything by Preston and Child
Mostly oldies like on TCM. Gone with the Wind, San Francisco, Titanic, Harry Potter too many more to mention.
Not crazy about science fiction, horror, violence.
House, NCIS, CSI, Murdoch, Gray's Anatomy, Disjointed, Outlander, Virgin River, Shtisel, Brit comedies, Documentaries, Historical movies, etc, etc, etc.
My best-liked series have all ended so I'm looking (mostly without success) for new ones. Any suggestions?
I don't care for violence, horror, science fiction, cartoons
