Comment: Thank you so much for the ATC and the story of your parents. I too am of the same generation as you. My mother was from Montana, my dad from Calif. They met while he was training at the college there. Once they married and left Montana, my mother was in heaven. She came from family of 8, six kids and parents. They lived for years in a 3 room log cabin. Once she left, she never went back (vacations only). My grandparents did well and lived long and happy lives. I spent many summers in Montana and I miss those times even today. Hope to swap with you again.

Comment: Beautiful cats - and what a treat to have a bobcat visit regularly! It was interesting to learn about the Ragdoll's colorations. My cats (3 and a dog) are just, I suppose, American shorthairs. Two were strays (one of which walked in the door one day - I've had that happen three other times, and they all ended up staying, but are sadly all gone now). The third (and really my favorite) was just dumped in the vet's parking lot one winter day. I said I'd take him, and although I've never understood how people can just dump animals, this one has always puzzled me. He's the sweetest cat, and always wants to be close to me. Anyway, thanks for the lovely photos! And I love the "year of the snake" card! What a neat type of card to send out this time of year! Thanks!
