About Me

I'LL BE ON SWAP-BOT HIATUS, FOLKS.

As much as I wanted to join so many cool swaps in my groups, I don't have the time to commit to swapping. I thought it best to go on leave rather than find myself in over my head. I hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for the wonderful swaps I've received and most importantly for the swap partners I've met in the past year. You've helped me a lot in my grief journey.

(P.S. I realized I accidentally deleted most of my profile. ARGHHHHH!!! I should have previewed this message first. :( Anyway, I'll put it together again when I get a chance. I'll still be logging on here from time to time to check messages and check group updates I'm a member of. Peace!

Quick list of what I like:

Papercraft - cards, ATCs, tags, mini-books. Art - acrylic & watercolor painting, mixed media, altered art, assemblage, collage, street art, book art, eco art. Anything letterpress. Response: Yay! I was worried that the skulls might get crushed in transit but I'm glad they arrived safely to you. Thank you very much for your patience and for the five rating and the heart. :)

Response: I'm glad it got to you safe! Check out the League of Steam, they sometimes go to places to bring steampunk to the masses. :) Thank you so much for your patience and for the five rating and a heart! :)

Comment: I love the domino charm you made for me! The design is so unique and I love that filmstrip you added, the lovely citrus colored beads and the face that looks like the golden sun. Your attention to detail is very appreciated. Also thank you so much for sending me the lovely felted heart! You are very good at that, I've not quite mastered getting mine so tight. What a bummer that your very first bottlecap charm got lost :( but like you say, maybe someday the postal ether may cough up a hairball and it will appear. haha. Also love your airmail note paper! This was a fantastic swap and I was thrilled to receive it. Thank you very much! Hope we can be partners again sometime.
Response: Woohoo!!! It got to you, I'm so relieved! I'm glad you liked the charm and the felted heart. I'm also just starting out on needlefelting. But I get to practice a lot since it's a great stress-reliever like I'm doing some voodoo thing to the sources of my stress. LOL. Thank you so much for your patience. Hope we can be partners again, too. :)

Comment: Wow! First..loved the bookmark. I am reading Last Train from Hiroshima, followed by The Stand..so it will definitely get tons of use. That was some creative Mailart, too :) Me and my hubby ate the pocky, was it dark chocolate? It was very good! I hope you ate the rest when you were putting the swap together..puts a smile on my face :) The teas you sent look delicious. Never tried any of those.
Response: Glad you liked the swap I sent! The Stand is a pretty thick paperback but it's engaging - still gives me goosebumps though when I recall some parts of it. (Not as bad as It though). That's the regular milk chocolate Pocky. And yup, I ate the rest. LOL. Thanks a bunch for the five rating and a heart! :)

Response: You're welcome. I hope it will prove handy. Yup, Cartoon Art Museum is a pretty cool place to visit in SF. Thanks a bunch for the five rating and a heart. :)

Comment: I'm giving Jennifer a heart not because her bird was so cute, but because she was super freaked out about the mail not getting to me when her post office closed and she went way above and beyond to check and make sure it was okay! Thanks!
Response: Aww thank you for the comment. Before I joined Swapbot, I couldn't care less about the mail or the post office, but now I get a bit stressed out when things go awry over there. (sigh) But I'm glad that the little bird got to you safely. Thanks a bunch for the five rating and the heart. :)

Haha, I totally cracked up on what you said about needle felting being a stress reliever for practicing voodoo on the "sources" for the stress. HAhaha, good thinking. I am off to relieve some stress now...wink.
