Elven Leaf Brooch

The Fellowship received Elven cloaks from Galadriel which helped hide them from unfriendly eyes. The cloaks were personally woven by Galadriel and her maidens. The brooches were in the form of a green leaf veined with silver.

Which one of us has not wanted an elven brooch, an emblem that we are truly part of the Fellowship.

For your partner you will make one elven brooch in the shape of a leaf. This can be needle felted, embroidered, sewn, made of polymer clay, beads, wire. The materials are limited by your imagination. BUT the workmanship needs to be the best you can do and you need to use AT LEAST TWO different materials, such as felt and beads or polymer clay and wire to make your creation plus the pin backing.

Please take the time and make the effort to make something that you, yourself would like to receive and when you mail it please use a padded envelope or mailing box to ensure that it arrives in one piece. Since this brooch will be lightweight, this is an international swap.

This swap will be newbie friendly and if you have any recent 3's or any unexplained 1's please contact me and we can discuss the situation. I will ensure that the send date on these swaps will be a Monday, which gives you the weekend before to finish up and get it out the door, which should prevent any need for late sending. While I will angel swaps if necessary, I will also let you know up front, while I understand that life happens to all of us and can be a fairly understanding, tolerant person, I will have a zero flake policy, so plan accordingly when signing up for swaps.
