I'm a professoinal longarm quilter and I like to embroider by hand and by machine. I read a lot and I like to spend time in our garden. I´m married and have two sons (born in 1990 and 1993) and we have a cat

I don't know how I ended up with this username....I pushed a button too soon I think ;-( On most forums I go by the name Mayaquilt...

I read a lot, these are some of my favorites:

All books from Diana Gabaldon, Stephenie Meyer, Tolkien and Charlaine Harris. Fay Weldon is also a writer I like a lot.

Hmmm...my taste is not really intellectual I'm afraid... I like the CSI kind of series and Angel and Buffy, oh and SF like stargate... My husband thinks I'm a bit simple ;-)

True Blood is a new favorite and the Dutch tv serie "Boer zoekt vrouw"

Too much to mention... Ofcourse quilting ;-) and art-quilting, general sewing, painting (the one-stroke country kind), embroidey by hand or machine,making home dec. kind of things with seashells or pinecones...sometimes making cards and atc's with fabric, needle felting and I'm sure there are more I can't think of at this moment ;-)

I don't really have favorite colours. I like most of them, bright batiks , country colors and soft pastels and everything in between. The "Tilda" style is a new love of mine :-)

I Like cupcakes, pumpkins, tea, cats, roses, lavender, small bags, all things handmade. Everything vintage...I love it!

I don't like Disney, stickers and 3D cards

I like to collect old sewing items, old wooden spools, old buttons, lace, pincushions, etc.

I also make and collect pincushions and needle-books

I like to swap Chunky book pages. I make mine mostly with fabric.I prefer the pages 4" x 4" with the binding on the left. On my Flickr you can see some of my pages. I'm trying to collect some monochromatic pages (one color) and pages with a vintage look.

I'm looking for chunky pages with this themes:

• monochromatic blue

• vintage

• vintage valentine

• the poem "Fire and Ice" from the poet Robert Frost (http://wonderingminstrels.blogspot.com/2001/05/fire-and-ice-robert-frost.html)

I don't have any foodallergies. I drink mostly tea, love all kinds. I'm happy with everything you send.
