I love Christmas with the best of ya, but the thought of cutting down a perfectly healthy tree just to decorate it for a couple of weeks and then discard it gives me the shudders.
Sooooooooo I offer these alternatives to that artificial replica of the live tree. I hope you enjoy them.
A tree made from sections of PVC affixed to a panel. Just add your own baubles inside.
Great for apartments or little houses.

For the really creative, recycled tires painted green.

I hope you like the pics and gifs of Christmas trees that I've chosen for you. I love Christmas trees. They are one of the beautiful things of Christmas. Unfortunately I no longer put up a Christmas tree. The first year that we had our first kitten (we now have 5 cats) she was playing in the tree (something that all kitty's do) and she got tangled in the wires from the lights. I heard her strangling herself and I saved her. It was a really scary time. Since then we haven't put up a tree. Anyway I hope you enjoy!

We got our outside lights put up today.. and will get the tree up this week. Will wait for next weekend to decorate it!
