I am a 44YO redhead, married with 2 daughters (20 and 10). I work as an admin assistant at a scientific research facility. My husband is in scientific statistical analysis. We have 4 permanent resident cats, an old orange tabby boy and 3 that are about 3 years old - a tiny little tortico girl, a tuxedo boy and an enormous grey tabby boy.

My entire family is involved in volunteering at a local no-kill cat shelter, where we do office work, give meds, socialize the cats, and foster cats/kittens in our home. Current fosters: a 18-year old torti girl, and calico we are in the process of getting ready for adoption.

I also volunteer at the Shakespeare Tavern every month, and we all volunteer at the children's games at the Stone Mountain Highland Games.

I like purple, blue and green - bright or dark, no pastels. I prefer silver to gold. I'm a big fan of peacock feathers, Celtic knots, Art Deco, mandalas, spirals, henna tattoos, snowflakes, and scrollwork. I like Kuromi (hello kitty), but none of the other characters. I like Disney villains, Dr Who, Loki, and Ruby Gloom. I like cats, fairies, witches and mermaids. I am fascinated with history of the British Isles. Favorite artists include Gustav Klimt, Arna Baartz, Georgia O'Keefe, and John Waterhouse. I love silver-wire-wrapped jewelry.

I REALLY don't like orange and yellow (REALLY!). I don't like Disney characters (except the villains). I don't like "cute" or country themes. No religious items, please.

I listen to Spotify all day long at work, and usually in the evening, too.

I am completely obsessed with Muse right now...

I love to read! Right now I'm reading a book about the Salem witch trials. When I'm not carpooling, I like to listen to audiobooks, mostly mysteries.

I spend a lot of time with my 10YO daughter. We are making friendship bracelets from embroidering thread right now.

I am a Planner Addict. Love color-coding, small stickers for my planner, washi tape, Sharpie pens, labels, post-it notes. I have a black Verona Daytimer Desk size planner and a black Filofax Holborn zip personal size that I use as a wallet.

I am working on The Documented Life project, so scrapbook paper, vellum and ephemera for scrapbooking/art journaling are welcome. I would love to have stamps and stencils for background texture. I need stamp pads that are earth tone colors. I would like to try some spray inks, preferably blue/purple/green tones.

A recent discovery is the art of Zentangle. I am really enjoying this process. I would love to have some Zentangle tiles.

I like dark chocolate - plain or combined with salt, caramel, chili, orange, almond, raspberry, cherry, marzipan, bacon...

I don't like white chocolate, or the combination of mint with chocolate. I have a mild allergy to walnuts and pecans.

I like all kinds of tea. Most often, I drink Earl Grey, mint, blueberry, citrus, or gourmet chocolate tea I was lucky enough to receive as a gift.
