Sewing, jewellery making, beading.Have just started making fascinators and would really like to try my hand at making hats - any helpful advice, suggestions would be most welcome. Any odd feathers, flowers or bases for the fascinators would be great !!

Earthy tones -olive green, rusts, creams etc.Purple, blues and indigo shades. Not a big fan of large bold patterns, I prefer the patterns made up of the same hues such as one finds in oriental / indian designs.

I love anything to do with art, interior decorating, garden design and fashion trends etc. i would really appreciate a magazine for one of the above interests ( not necessarily new ) or any art/collage materials.

In the food/sweet line am not fussy - no jawbreakers or caramel please - allergy. love coffee - drink it all the time

This is going to be my motto and I hope swappers won't be offended by this.Sometimes (myself included) I find we put together quite a few things and as I add up the cost I realise that I could have bought something really great if I hadn't got so carried away. I would like to appeal to fellow swappers to think carefully before taking part in swaps and not to over extend themselves. Their partners end up disappointed and frustrated.One just has to read the forums to see this.

I live in on the east coast in Kwa-zulu Natal - south africa. Post sometimes takes a little longer so please be patient. I work part time for civil engineers and am lucky to work mainly with great guys - indians, europeans and africans. It's been interesting to experience the different cultures and I have learnt a lot about them.My husband is also in the engineering field which is where we met many years ago, so I understand quite a lot about his work.I have two grownup children and a welsh border collie ( the third child) an avid dog lover, need i say more!
