UPDATE:2-26-18: I'm getting back into swapping because I miss getting happy mail and I miss sending it. I've since had 4 deaths in my family since July 2017 2 of which have been immediate family members--my Father in July and My Uncle 2-17-18. So it has really been a difficult time for me and I have taken some time off work to grieve, craft, swap, a little hobby therapy to help. If you are a prayer please pray for strength for my family. But I am a good swapper so please don't kick me out of swaps for not swapping in the past few months.

UPDATE:9-6-17:Slowly trying to recover from the death of an immediate family member. I'll still try to remain somewhat active. Hopefully it might help the grieving process. Thank you for your support and prayers. If I haven't rated you I have a pile of things I need to rate I'll get to them as soon as I can.

UPDATE: 7-19-17: I have suffered a tragic loss in my family and will rate the swaps when I can. I have several swaps I need to go through and rate but will do so as soon as I get time. Please keep my family in your prayers.

Hello. I'm Nicole. I'm a 32, married 10 years, with 2 children. I also have 4 cats and 1 dog. I don't smoke and I like a nice margarita on the rocks every now and then. I'm an introvert. . I'd rather stay home with a book or a movie on the couch than go out and party. I love tattoos and have 8 or 9 of them. I work for Carnival Cruise Lines part time and I love it. I also love cats and anything cat related!

CRAFTING: Swapping is so much fun for me! I am also a dedicated scrapbooker. My kids each have a book and it's updated regularly. I also make mosaic tables...I've made a Dallas Cowboys one, a Texas Rangers, dragon fly, a cat, and 2 dogs. It's something I really love to do--I usually make tables.

Anything that I can dance to. When I want to unwind and relax I like to listen to Mat Kearny, John Mayer, Enya....slow and meaningful songs. I also like country music too. Only music I don't like is heavy heavy rock and heavy rap.

Favorite singer currently: Sam Hunt

I have a kindle but prefer paperback books. Jodi Picoult is favorite author and I have even met her in person but I haven't read much of her lately. I also love Chelsea Cain and her Archie and Gretchen series. I typically read fiction novels....no cheesy romance novels though. I love going to go a used bookstore and browsing and I usually find something I'm interested in that they have on display.

Dirty Dancing and True Romance are my favorites. So is Beauty and the Beast. I also love any and all super hero movies and action movies. Really the only thing I'm not a fan of are scary movies. I have to watch them at home with all the lights on and my pillow to hide behind.

Game of Thrones, The 100, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, the Flash, Orange is the New Black, The Killing. Just to name a few. I don't have cable so I have netflix and Hulu. Not interested in reality TV except for America's Got Talent, The Profit, The Shark Tank.

SENDING OUT POSTCARDS; I know I can't make everyone happy but I always look at profiles and try to send something within my stash. I don't have a big stash but I'm working on building it slowly. I also have a binder that I keep my favorite PCs in.

POSTCARD LIKES-vintage, bright and colorful flowers, peacocks, animals--dogs and cats. I like some toruist postcards--ones with neat monuments, map postcards I love, state or country facts. Love funny or adult humor PCs. I love weird, handmade, colorful, fun postcards.

POSTCARD DISLIKES--plain/boring, ones with flags on them, snakes/insects, don't sent me a PC out of your stash that you don't like just to get rid of it

GOODIE LIKES: Starbucks, Oreos, Twix, chocolate covered pretzels, white chocolate, Reese's, Giradelle filled caramel----nothing with nuts please!

Adult coloring---I have a binder with plastic sleeves that I keep things people have colored me and some of my work.

I love ANYTHING handmade. If you make me something handmade I will cherish it forever! I like inspirational things.

♥I know I shouldn't, but I take it personally when someone rates me a 5 with no comment and no heart. I really do my best to make my partner smile but I guess you can't please everyone! If you get a swap from me and don't like it at least a thank you would be nice!

DISLIKES: It's really difficult to make me unhappy but there are things that drive me crazy:

Sloppy work that looks like you were rushing to get it sent out

Anything Frozen related---cannot STAND Frozen! (I do like disney---prefferable Beauty and the Beast)

Things sent without a note---I think it's really impersonal to do that.

Things smelling of smoke

Letters sent to me that are actually just a copy that's sent to every swapper. I prefer personal handwritten letters. (CANNOT STAND when people do this---so impersonal!)

people who don't take the time to rate or read profiles or people who rate and don't leave a comment or at least say thank you!

Fabric (I don't sew and have no use for it)

Scrap paper--I am a big scrapbooker and have plenty of paper...I only buy what I need

Politics---never ends well

Religion--it's usually a good idea to avoid this top as well, but I do pray and I am into Buddhism

I have type 2 diabetes but I am not completely restricted. Sugar free candy is always welcome and any protein snacks...I don't drink anything other than unsweet tea or water
