My name is shandi , I live in baltimore county in a little state called maryland.Im about 30 mins or so from Washington dc which we go there from time to time to the zoo there.Im 29 years young but at times fell and act 50 as im definitely more of a homebody.Im engaged to a great guy named kevin we have been together for 3 years now but have been friends for over 13 years.I was married and with my ex husband for over 9 years and I had 2 wonderful kids with him and I already had a son from a relationship prior.

So if your counting I have 3 kids and my fiance has one all 4 of which live with us and sadly none of there other parents are much of a parent and we get no help or child support. So with 4 kids we do live week to week and at this point can't afford some of the finder things in life such as vacations, cable or Internet, but luckily our phones have the Web , the shows I like and enjoy come on basic TV channels and i have learned the best family time memories are not always on the dream vacations but fun things you do which I'm always looking for free or cheap things to do for fun such as events at chruchs, school events, parks and local beachs and we are hoping to start camping in the spring and are tryingto get things together needed for a family of 6 to camp.

My family is a family of animal lovers even my fiance loves his little dogs and all animals.We have rescued alot of small animals like bunnies, guinea pigs, and ferrets from places such as Craigs list from becoming snake food or sent to yet another home to get pushed to the side once a child is bored with them as it seems so many consider thoose animals as throw away pets not thinking ot does effect them and there quality of life.At this point we have 4 dogs named pebbles (3 year old shihtzu), peaches (3 year old pekeinese), pudgy (1-1/2 year old shihtzu) and peanut (the only male a 1 year old chipoo).We also have 1 cat named calling she is 3 years old, we have a ferret named rufus who is about 4 years old, a chinchilla who is almost 2 years old named chilli,4 rabbits all of them or boys ciniibun, cream, zombie and slayer.All of ours other then 2 dogs are rescues.

.At this point I'm a stay at home mom but plan on starting school to be a vet tech then a vet this spring once.I have been struggling with depression for almost 2 years and it has been the hardest 2 years of my life and truly has shown me the real true side of mental illness and i would not wish depression on my worse enemy. I have made myself try to fight it lately and im slowly feeling normal again , yes it is till a struggle and i have bad days but it is looking up.

I hope swapbot will give me something postive to do i enjoy and being on deadlines makes me have to get it done even if crawling in a ball sounds like a better idea.Oh almost forgot my kids names and ages are johnny (13) kevin(12) mariah (10) and tayor (7) yup that's right 2 older boys and 2 younger girls.So the girls boyfriends will have 2 big brothers to watch over them to treat them right.

Below is a summary of things i like, love, enjoy, have on my wish list or things i plan on trying to get myself once I have the money (some may be to costly for swaps and some are on here as ideas for swaps such as secret santa gift swaps)and also some crafts, hobbies or things i dont like, I hate , have no use for or have tons of already.Hopefully its some help for my sending partners who check profiles or anyone looking to get to know people on swapbot.

-my favorite craft is scrapbooking(i have albums in most sizes 12x12,8x8 , 6x6 and the 8 x11 inch)

-I also n have gotten to enjoy cardmaking and would like to get some different shaped cards,cards with coutouts, different envies or mini envies, our templets for envies or cards

-I don't make or collect atc's so would prefer to not get any if possible(though I've been checking into them and may try them so if anyone has supplies such as the cards or sleeves i would try it as i may enjoy it who knows)

-I don't send nor collect postcard

-I love paper and feel a paper crafter can never have to much paper and would love to get more speciality paper(suede, different texturz, holographic, rippled, adhesive paper sheets for die cutting etc) but I have so many scraps that I would prefer not to get pieces smaller then a 4x6 photo for photos mats (in less it's speciality papers as mentioned above)

-I have been crushing and in love with the stamps by kraftin kimmie and want some so bad and hopefully one day when have extra funds i will get some i really want the lulu ones my 1st choices would be lulu and libby ,2 cute to spook , or any of the lulu ones) they also have other ones with kids and lulu that are so cute if some how u had them and didn't use them or found them cheap in a swap I'd love you forever new , used etc instant heart

-I love cling stamps both the clear ones and the ones with the foam like backing (mounted stamps are OK but if i had to choose I'd pick cling as they are so much easier to store) and prefer the cute ones of animal's, kids doing different things etc and love the popcorn bear stamps , I also like the greeting farms, hero arts , and others of the kids and people as i love coloring clothes and things you design in them

-I only have a couple rolls of washi tape and would love love love to expand my collection as i hate only having one or 2 of something i love so if you have a roll you don't like or have doubles of that would be much appreciated!

-ive just got into papier tole and would love paper tole images or sheets with cutouts (have been wanting the popcorn bear paper tole from paper wishes im sure the sell them other places as popcorn bear is known but any cute paper tole, xmas , or other nice designs would be greatly appreciated

-I can always use different types of adhesives (glue dots, runners , etc) and have been wanting to try a adhesives made for vellum.

-I love and collect themed and shaped brads, eyelets, theme buttons and flatbacks (love eyelet outlet, justbrads, buttons galore and Jesse James dress it up buttons) I have tons of regular round and squares so would prefer not to get the basic ones but any different types and themes I'd love and use (holidays, animals, pets, baby, kids etc.

-I love my sizzix bigkick so any cutting dies or embossing folders would be used and would love so detailed ones to try from companys like cherrylynn

-I DONT knit, sew or make quilts at this point as i have tryed and just don't enjoy it nor am I good at sewing so items used for thoose crafts I have no use for

-I love all types of embellishments metal ones are great such as the mini plagues, label covers, unquie photo Turners, mini flags,cabochons, flatbacks etc

-I don't make jewelry so only use beads if they can be used as embellishments (if you have to or want to send beads my daughters will use them) but I do like charms for embellishments for cards and layouts

-im NOT into vintage, emphera, Victorian or steam punk styles very much other then the tim holtz distress paints and inks and do have a few tim holtz cutting dies but would prefer not to get alot of things in this style or black and white old photos, old vintage papers etc

-my favorite characters are disney (eeyore is my first love but also like mickey,and Donald duck) disney movies (lion king, toy story, dumbo) disney princess (they are all okay but im not hugely into any but my favorite is belle followed by cinderella and jasmine) I also like chuckie from the older show rugrats, the baby winnie the pooh characters as well as baby mickey and friends and baby looney tunes

-I DONT drink hot tea or much ice tea (other then s regular snapple with lemon or sweet tea im more of a Pepsi or coke drinker then tea)

-I'm not a big coffee person but do like flavored coffees and coffee drinks such as lattees or cappuccinos and coffee flavors such as vanilla, carmel or choclate but if you send coffee i dont have a regular coffee maker so would prefer k cups if possible

-I like hot choclate my favorite is milk choclate also in candy i prefer milk choclate and n y favorite candy is choclate truffles (not big on fruit filled choclates )

-I have 2 daughters and one is a girly girl so homemade cute hair bows or clips she would love and wear as she love dresses and matching hair items

-I'm a huge animal lover so anything cute with animals I'd like my favorite wild animals are tigers or other big cats , panda bears, koala bears and kangaroos

-I love my dogs like babies so anything of there breeds which are shihtzus, pekeinese, and chipoo would love to find stickers of there brands for layouts or ferret, pet rabbit or chinchilla stickers for layout

-some things I like and would be good gifts or swap items paper punches, ribbon (different patterns an d styles i have alot of plain colors), embossing powders in unquie colors (i have alot n basic colors), smooch accent inks(love to get smooch colors) spectrum noir markers or colored pencils (only have 2 small sets of markers the basic and pale hues and would like to get whole set down the road) any good coloring items markers, colored pencils etc, would love to try gelatos for coloring,and chalks i got one set of eBay of stampin up chalks and most got ruined in shipping but I love using them for coloring stamped images and other thing

-I like coloring stamped images and thoose velvet posters they sell for kids

-I enjoy doing crafts with my kids so things to do with them is nice

-I like metal stencils as you can use them as stencils or for embossing

-I have tons of foam shapes and stickers so in less they are unquie or really cute i definitely can do without them

-I love colored gel pens for coloring i had a huge set of different colors glitter, metallic, neon etc but me and my girls used them coloring with them so I hope to get more sets of them and different colors and types!

-I don't have any note cards or swap cards at all so thoose would be nice as i like to include one with my swaps if possible. So you could help me make other swappers smile (as with any thing I love animals so cute ones would be my preference but any is fine as i try to send one that matches my partners likes since they are getting it so as i say different strokes for different folks! And you send to many different folks swapping )

I have a likes and dislikes list above but ive noticed on some profiles people have a ultimate wish list or something similar and with the holidays approaching im in and hope to join gift or stocking stuffer style swaps as i love xmas so so much and enjoy buying and wrapping gifts as much as i love the surprise of something that someone put time into getting for you. So with that said below is a list of items I'd totally love to get in swaps so it my ultimate wish list.Is you are looking for something to make my day or spoil me as your partner you can't go wrong with the items below (though anything from my likes list or profile related would also be appericated) the items are not in piticular order as all are things I'd buy myself if I could find or could take the money to spoil myself

1)kraftin kimmie stamp (mainly the lulu ones)/popcorn bear stamps(i have 2 sets already called winter wishes and bear merry xmas)/janies girlfriends and i believe they have other sets similar called janies girls I've only seen the them by hot off the press from paper wishes/penny black stamps of the little girl (i have the set called big wish), magnolia tilda stamps these are brands ive been in love with and seen many i love but I also have other ones and love other stamps of cute images of kids or animals that I can color.

2) smooch pearlized accent ink (I'd prefer the regular not the sprays as ive never tryed them) I love the look of them and the small brush for detailed images so any color as i do have like 6 of them but doubles don't matter as i would galdly use them as some are almost gone and they come in small bottles (smooch is one thing I'd love to have big time )

3) chalk set for coloring and blending not the chalk ink pads but the chalks you apply with a applicator simpler to eyeshadow brushes

4) gelatos for coloring i have none and would love to try them

5) cutting dies for my sizzix bigkick and embossing folders

6)perfect medium pens (for use with perfect pearls , pearl x and other powder pigments or embossing)

7) gel pen set (not black or blue but multi colored ones as i use them for coloring stamped images )

8) The pens by sakura (they make pens such as the glaze pens, gelly roll pens, gelly roll metallic, and i believe they are call moonlight, star light, and the gold and silver outlined ones i have some glaze and metallic ones and love them and would love to try the other ones

9) I've just begun to get into using washi tape and would love love love to expand so rolls of washi tape would be great as i only have like 5 rolls at this point so I'd love more patterns to use for layouts and cards

10) spectrum noir markers or colored pencils (i have the basic and pale hues 6 pack of marker sets)

11) xyron sticker maker/creative station (don't have any so i would love one to try out even the lil disposal one)

I know some of these things are more then alot of swaps call for as a price point but it's just me ultimate wishlist and i figured I'd list them for swaps that do allow for gifts or if someone finds them cheap or have them and don't use them etc .

Well I'm still new to swapbot but i have really enjoyed it so far it gives me reasons to use my craft stash and things i have to much of i can pass to someone else who can really enjoy it instead of it laying around collecting dust .When I sign up for a swap i do so with the full intention of following through and doing nothing less then what the swap requires though I try to go above the requirements to make my partner smile.

♥♥SMOOCH ACCENT INKS these are an automatic heart as I love love love them and always run out and have trouble finding them and have to buy offline and sometimes shipping for something so small is crazy and I can't afford it alot of times so any smooch would be so much appreciated for coloring and my layouts Amy color is fine but at this time have the following colors (if you have or buy these colors that's fine also as I ill Def use them but if possible new colors are great gold, pumpkin, carrot, siren, sassy pink, orchid frost, azure, green apple, and I have a few smaller bottles I don't know the names of thoose but as I said any color even the smaller bottles that come in packs are so much appreciated and sure to make my day (these make it on every like list sorry but I love them)

-single or packs of gel pens, markers or other coloring items (favorites are spectrum noir, copics, American craft precision pens and candy shop gel pens, chromatix markers,but would love to try other brands of pens and markers made for crafting)

-stickles or Zazz by American crafts glitter glues (any color)

-spoils of ribbion (you can get many styles in bargin bins and just about in every store) I would love to find more self adhesive ribbons or fibers

-note cards/envelope sets or regular cards for cardmaking

-embossing folders or cutting dies (can be used in working great shape as they are costly as long as it will work in a sizzix bigkick which i believe all dies do) THIS IS A FAVORITE AS WELL I LOVE MY SIZZIX AND THINGS I CAN USE OVER AND OVER AGAIN ARE GREAT AND BETTER THEN STICKERS WHICH IS WHY STAMPS HAVE BECAME A HUGE FAVORITE ALSO SO DIES, FOLDERS OR cling STAMPS I can color are also a big heart earned for sure and I know km dies and embossing folders can be pricey so even if the swap says new I'm okay with used but great shape working dies and folders that you might not use or have doubles of or find cheap at yards ales etc.

-themed brats, eyelets, flatbacks, buttons (please no basic round, square as i have tons but love different themes)I have most that Michaels sell but I'm sur they get new ones in regularly

-stickers (please no kiddie or, teacher ones I'd prefer stickers made for scrapbooking or cardmaking the ones you get in craftstores)

-Any craft items in bargin bins in craft stores, target and other places (ribboin, stamps, tapes, stickers, and any other craft items)

-patterned flowers (prima, petalpoo and others I'd prefer patterns as i have many plain colored flowers)

-any embellishments for scrapbooking

-scrapbooking borders

-flocking powder, liquid applique, or glitter(please no baggies of glitter it makes such a mess)

-ink pads (cubes, cat eye etc many can be found in bargin bins such as studio g, colorbox, recollections etc)

-Any craft kits or items for my daughters ages 8 and 10 they love to make cards, scrapbooking kits, and other crafts

-anything for my furbabies such as dog or cat treats or toys or rabbit or chinchilla treats or toys for ferrets (get doesn't like treats )

-lindt Lindor milk chocolate truffles or other milk chocolate truffles or candy I don't care much for dark chocolate some white chocolate is okay but I prefer milk chocolate and truffles the best

-flavored hot chocolate packets or kcups

-patterned socks (ankle or crew no knee high please) my daughter's also love patterned socks so socks for them also would be loved

-Baltimore Ravens or Baltimore orioles items for my son's room or house the boys room is done in both teams items and we are huge fans and bleed purple football season and orange during baseball season GO RAVENS GO ORIOLES LET GO BIRDS ,, BALTIMORE IS BIRDLAND BABY!!!!

I hate to do this and it really sucks that there is a need but I'd rather list the problem swappers so others are aware and i list the ratings im waiting on hoping the person will see and rate as i really wish swapbot made it a requirement to rate in a certain amount of time.Sad thing is if you didn't do the swap correctly in their eyes or they didn't like it im sure most non raters would then rate quickly as it seems to be easier to say bad things then good things for alot of people.

-Was flaked on by LIAMANDTHEBEES in the cat swap i contacted him (a nice message being a newbie myself I though mayb he just forgot to mark send or something else I try to assume the best) he replied back saying he had a mental health issue and asked if I could allow him to contact the host of the swap himself and i waited and was going to let him explain first and then I got a message from the host that he sent her a message saying I sent him a rude message etc luckily the host understood as he was the one you flaked.I offered to forward the messages to her as im new to swapbot i didn't want him to tarnish my reputation early on when I was not not rude at all and even allowed him to speak to the host 1st . luckily the host ())))Angeled for me which i appericate greatly !
