UPDATE 6/12/12: I once again have housing (and therefore an address). Still catching up. I am not signing up for anything until I have. Note: I always make sure that I have the postage ready before I sign up for a swap. I believe that tomorrow's outgoing mail will have me caught up - so, if you don't receive items soon, please let me know. I so love swapping with people. Thank you for understanding a VERY difficult situation for me - please understand that when you are living in a car and eating at the soup kitchen, a postcard or ATC you owe someone is not a top priority. Also, I WILL rate all received. Hopefully, then I will be back in good standing.

NOTE: I fell behind on my swapping because I was hospitalized and I am currently living in a car. I will complete all swaps and rate (please continuing sending to same address - my sister's house) as soon as I can. I will get to the library at least once a week to use the computer. Mom to 2 girls - 20 (majoring in Medical Assistant program at Central Maine Community College) and 17 (attending High Point University in NC in the fall - double majoring in Elementary Education and Theater), and one furbaby a 2yr old cat (Abby).

I am unfortunately currently unemployed (& looking), but it does allow me time to craft and read so I'm taking advantage of that while I can.

I love animals - cats, bunnies, frogs, squirrels, giraffe, lemurs, tigers, elephants, owls, birds, dragonflies, butterflies.

Colors I enjoy: rust, cranberry, sage green, turquoise/teal, purple, red

Dislikes: cutsie stuff, overuse of pastels, sticker slapping, flakers

I have been swapping/collecting postcards for decades. I especially enjoy architecture, landscapes, and wild animals. I often send lighthouses, mountain, or Maine wildlife cards.

I love to see all the creative things that people make, and to share some of my ideas as well. Getting swap mail always brings a smile to my face & I hope the same is true for the receivers of my snail mail.

I love going to lawn sales/thrift stores to find lttle bits of things to use for ATCs, etc (old book pages, pics, paper, fabric, ribbon, buttons, game pieces, etc). And, I've been known to find a "treasure" just laying on the ground. Its nice to mix up the stash a bit. I also like to share some of my finds.

I love to craft - especially if I can recycle something into something beautiful and/or useful.

I knit, crochet, create ATCs, inchies and journal pages, do some hand sewing, and altering various things.
