Hi All! So sorry for being M.I.A. or forgetting parts of my swaps. A bunch of swaps piled up on me on top of my real life priorities. The past few months I have been REALLY busy with life. I hope to be back on track soon and find some time to join some swaps and send some letters to my pals out there ;-)

Hi Everyone! I am looking forward to meeting new people who are into crafting, journaling, handmade crafts and pen pals.

I love the snail-mail letters and postcard pen-pals... It is exciting to get to know people all over the world, learn about cultures and receive little trinkets that show a little something about each individuals personality...whether it is the paper they choose, art or embellishment they add, it all expresses something special about the individual and I look forward to receiving it ;-)

I love journaling & art journaling, card making, papercrafts, mail-art, jewelry making and basically anything that allows me to be creative and use my hands....----> NOTE: I am no expert, still learning and growing ;-)

I am a personal chef in NYC, avid gardener and food justice activist. I love to grow my own fruits and veggies and making jams and jellies both savory and sweet. I wouldn't mind swapping recipes.

I run a wives only crafting group in NYC and enjoy hanging out with group members sipping wine, eating homemade treats, creating beautiful crafts and chatting about life. PM me if you live in NYC and interested in joining ;0)

I am madly in love with my husband, Lorenzo, and enjoy cracking jokes, playing with our dog and singing broadway tunes at the top of my lungs while cooking, lol.

Excited about making ATCs and inchies, my new discoveries here on Swap-Bot! Back in college I used to collect zines and now really excited to make my own. I am working on a smash book (handmade) based on all of you lovely people I meet here on SB!

I love baking and cooking with fresh, local and whole ingredients. I love to cook things that are very involved and prepare dishes that are visually appealing and equally delicious.

• Fav scents: lavender and mint

• Themes: food as art, exotic plants & flowers, unusual trees, herbs, intricate patterns, gothic designs, insects, birds...please note nothing cartoonish!!!

• Art: my favorite artists/ photographers include Salvadore Dali, Matthew Barney, David LaChapelle and Cindy Sherman..Sooooo much more......& I looooove street art.

• Randoms: zombies, the apocalypse, skulls, skeletons

My Dog

We have a wheaten terrier/poodle mix - "whoodle"' his name is Tonka. He loves beefy treats (brand new and in original wrapping). He enjoys looking out the window on rainy days, and playing with our next door neighbors dog Sparkle.

My Man

About my hubby, Lorenzo, he is currently into the game "Tera" and is an avid gamer (owns every system), he loves reese's peanut butter cups, different flavored nuts (DISLIKES: spicy anyhting) gummie worms, bears, etc. (especially sour), he loves all things 80s especially Depeche Mode & cartoons.

He loves Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network, horror movies, paintballing & ATVing. He also enjoys to read sci-fi novels, techie magazines and watching anime ( he has probably watched every anime series on the Netflix instant queue).

He is a technology freak and genius...he loves to build computers from the ground up (usually PCs) specifically for gaming. But note we are both Macs -- not PCs, LOL, long live Apple Computer, LOL!

And you...

With any swap I would love a personalized message that highlights something about you or a story about what inspired your swap item (besides swap rules)...pretty please ;-)

• Also note that I am interested in sending and receiving FBs, Slams, Decos. So kindly add them to any letters and packages and I would be happy to pass on ;-)

I am obsessed with music, I listen to a wide variety, but not really into country. I won't bore you with my long list, but my fav bands include System of a Down, Janelle Monae, Radiohead & Tenacious D!

I am also a classically trained flautist and I just love different periods of classical music. I am obsessed with Beethoven!

I am totally into Sci-fi and Apocalyptic books and love androids.

My favorite author is Octavia Butler. I have read and own every one of her books, including "Survivor"

I am a collector of cook books and have about 200 now... I love finding old cook books stuffed with old school recipes that take hours or days to prepare. My oldest cook book is from 1920!

I also like books about homesteading.
