About Me

I am an analyst and love auditing and reviewing things, but love the weekend when it comes! I am a wife and mother of two young ladies (Tara 24 yrs. and Samira (my angel now). So proud of my daughter - just graduated from college! Love my girl to pieces! I have a love for God and my family, my German Shepherds (Kassi and JR), They keep me light on my feet, and the Lord grounds me and gives me strength.

And doing things for others (always remember to pay it forward), hunting down fun things at Thriftstores to use in swaps/crafts or keepers just for me. Love spending next to nothing for treasures.

What I Pledged

Favorite Hobby: Of course Scrapbooking is truly my passion {But I do love cardmaking too!}. I love to make albums/pages that tell a story about the individual. It gives me time with mom, family and friends. Rather than have my photos on the computer, I can go through albums with family and friends.

I enjoy teaching card making and enjoy coming up w/new versions. Having card classes is a treat for me and the ladies bring me such joy. I sell my class kits with instructions and pictures if you are interested- message me.

I alter my clothes and love, love thrift store finds. Not sure I could ever go back to buying brand new as I can find name brands (and often still with tags on them) at thrift stores.

Go Green I reuse everything and make cards from a variety of spectrums. When you find something to reuse, do so and make an effort to save our environment.

I use all sort of mediums when making my cards from wallpaper, paint chips, match box pieces, card board, sandpaper, pictues, ribbon, old buttons, jewels, a torn page from a book, etc.......

I love to reuse packages that have come to me to save on the environment. No worries about a bad rating because of the packaging.

and movies - I do love comedies - laughter keeps us young at heart. Do love to watch shows tha I can analyze and figure out too - Rosewood, Elementary,CSI (all of them), Bones, Mentalist, good old western, the old black and whites, and still love Lucy! As for movies, I love the chick flicks most, old musicals, romance, action, and comedies. Thank goodness for DVR as I wouldn't be able to watch shows. Probably delete more than I watch because I am busy in life, buy they are here or me when needed.

Ribbon - I love beautiful ribbon for my card making! Have tons of it but still love ribbon Buttons - I do use buttons for my cards and love to receive those unique and fun buttons.
Paper Card Candy - love to use all sorts of card candy and paper is cheaper to mail out. Flowers - I am stuck on these darn things too! It is almost like shoes, but I love cards with paper/silk flowers in a variety of mediums! diecuts Recipies - Love to collect delicious recipies and am always looking for new Gluten free ones. Trying to be healthier. Canning - love, love, love canning my own products for my family - healthier is better. I am still into making the best pasta and pizza sauce a girl could love!

A bundle of birthday cards - I have 1,100 people on the campus I work at and there are birthdays constantly! I am one of those trying to make hearts smile One Card at a Time

Just plain stickers - make them 3D if you want to make me smile. If you need help - message me.

Also, a card that appears to have been rushed and not giving the artists love and attention.
