Hello, I'm a mom of 2 boys and I'm from Maryland. I'm new to swapping and very excited to start this new hobby.

I'm not very good with filling out profiles but I will work on it and include more info. It might take me a little while before I have a nice well rounded profile. It will happen though :)

While I do tend to favor music from certain genres, for the most part my taste varies wildly.

My favorite band is Depeche Mode. I’ve been to 2 of their concerts. Lately I’ve also been enjoying music by Lana Del Rey. Her voice is so pretty and her music is very different from most pop that is out at this time.

I enjoy watching movies with my family. We watch a wide variety of movies. Since we have young children we don't watch very many horror movies.

Because I'm a super huge space nerd, my favorite movies tend to fall within that category. Apollo 13 is a top space movie for me. As well as Contact, The Martian and Interstellar. Watching Gravity was like an extended panic attack. It was non-stop impending doom and I kinda didn't like that one.

In the last few years, I've experienced a bit of a creative block. I am normally a very creative and artistic person however there has been a few life experiences that have essentially crippled my ability to be creative. I'm very much hoping that mail swapping will help bring me out of this hole I feel like I'm in and rediscover my artistic self.

I enjoy lots of different mediums. When it comes to drawing, I'm mostly a pencil and paper kind of gal. I want to work more with markers and pen as I don't feel as confident with those.

I also crochet and sew a small bit. Besides drawing, sewing has to be the 2nd craft/art that I've done the longest. My mom and sister were very involved in community theatre (costuming) when I was a kid so I got an early start with sewing. I'm no where as good as my mom and sister but I'm getting there.

For the last few years, we have not had cable tv. Seriously, it's too expensive. So when it comes to recent tv, I am oblivious. We have the internet! Most of the shows I watch are on Netflix or Hulu. Occasionally I will watch something new and awesome at the suggestion of my sister. She has cable tv and will let me know what's good.

I enjoy the 'adult cartoons'. Rick and Morty and Bob's Burgers are my new favorites. Then there is Star Trek: Next Generation. My dad would watch this show a lot when I was a kid and it kinda stuck with me. Fun fact: my husband bears a resemblance to Commander Riker.

My husband and I watch Doctor Who together a lot but somehow I am behind him in the series. (He totally watches it without me here and there) I very much enjoy that show.

I love pastel colors! When Easter decor comes out in the crafts stores, I'm in pastel heaven!! My favorites are pink, lavender and mint.

And cats, I love cats. If I could have my way, I'd have at least 3 cats. I have one right now. My husband claims he hates cats but he is always snuggling our cat. My kids want more cats too but my husband refuses to let me become the 'crazy cat lady'. I guess it's good that he is controlling our home's cat population but he has never experienced the awesomeness of owning more than one cat. I have and it's amazing.

Another thing I really like is kawaii stuff. Like hello kitty, Disney tsum tsum, korilakuma, etc. I am a sucker for anything cute.

I’ve already contacted admin about my previous account and the person I had flaked on. I understand if I am banned from future swaps.
