About Me
My name is Liucija. I'm 19 years old and I live in Lithuania. I'm currently studying Photography and Media Arts in Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Actually, photography means everything to me! It helps me to think, to create and to feel alive.
I love theatre. I'm a volunteer in Arts Printing House located in Vilnius for 3 years. I could spend the whole day sitting in theatre and watching plays!
I collect postcards. I'm participating in Postcrossing, PostcardUnited, Intpostage. Actually, sending and receiving postcards/letters became the BIG part of my life and I couldn't live without it. Also, I collect fridge magnets from all over the world.
I try to spend every minute of my life as better as I can just to remember it. I try to learn new things, find what I like, try something new and make lovely memories.
Favorite Movies
I love old movies. Maybe, because I love history, or maybe, because nowadays films are more banal.
My favourite is:
"Coffee and Cigarettes" (2003) by Jim Jarmusch.
Also, in Lithuania there are some cinema festivals such as Vilnius Cinema Spring Festival, Scanorama, Inconvenient Films etc. which presents not so contemporary, not banal films. I try to visit these festivals every year.
Favorite Books
I love reading. I'd like to read all the books. Especially I love reading about wars or biographies, because I love true stories, it's interesting to know what was before or how someone felt or lived.
My favourite is:
"Between Shades of Gray" (2011) by Ruta Sepetys.
