HI!... My name is Colleen, I'm 59 yrs.old, I've been married to my best friend and soulmate for 42 wonderful years. We have 3 great children, and 5 beautiful Grandkids and can't forget our granddogs. We have 4 grandsons and 1 little princess who is right in the middle of the boys. I am happily retired, my husband will retire this year. My husband has traveled for his job for most of our married life, so I'm looking forward to him being home after he retires. We live on a 60 acre Farm, though we don't actually farm the land we have had a great number of animals over the years. We had the usual dog,cat, sheep, rabbits, gerbils, mice, a horse we rescued and even a pet rat named Buster( who was very smart, I just didn't like his tail.) We raised canaries from eggs and had some beautiful singers for about 2 years, then my husband started raising chickens, guinea hens and we also have 3 peacocks, (Mr.Peabody, Sherman and Buster). Once our children were married and on their own I was faced with empty nest syndrome all by myself, being retired I found myself with a whole lot of time for me, I thought of going back to school to become an interior decorator. I always liked crafts as a child , and enjoyed doing projects with the kids for school, Now I do it with my grandkids, I enjoy doing scrapbooks I have what I call a small business called Colleen's One of A Kind Creations, making one of a kind bird baths out of glass vases, plates and bowls. I have gone to about 6-7 craft shows and would like to so more this year.I enjoy making my own cards sell them also. My new favorite are ATC's and Pocket Letters.

I love a good Love story. My all time favorite is The Note Book by Nikolas Sparks. Actually there hasn't been a movie or a book he has written that I haven't liked. Titanic is another favorite I have 5 different movies about the Titanic and been to 2 of the museums the one in FL. has a dinner theater, where they recreate the night of the sinking. I love the history there and have read many books about it. Julie Garwood is another author I love. I don't watch much tv except Dancing with the Stars and the trio Chicago Med, Fire and PD.

My Grandkids are my life now, I enjoy being involved with school activities, their sports, soccer, baseball, football, karate and my Granddaughter who is soooo into horses that they have become a part of life. She is 5 and has been riding for more than 2 years. I think she has her life already planned to have a horse no matter what it takes

Everything and anything about babies including baby animals.

Favorite color is pink (my husband loves me in pink)

I Love ELVIS and have every song he's ever recorded. OLDIES are another favorite along with COUNTRY, my new favorite country singer is Chris Stapleton and his cd TRAVELER. ALL OF YOU is my favorite song. LOVE SONGS are also on my list. Our wedding song is TIME IN A BOTTLE by JIM CROCI

Although I'm retired I work part-time ( one night a week) at an auction as a runner. I find a lot of great buys some really interesting things old and new. I love being around all the customers and my co-workers, it's like my social club.

I have so many collections I can't keep up with them, some i've stopped and started some new ones. My house is mostly vintage. I collect Baby dolls, , precious moments( stopped) Angels(stopped )Fenton glass, swans, glass paper weights, anything beach to put at the house in oc, though it is getting full fast! and Girly girl pretty stuff( bows, flowers, beads etc.) I have a Baby collection of baby items mostly vintage. I especially like cards , books, pictures of babies.

There is not much I don't like to receive. I will say I DON"T drink tea/coffee or alcoholic drinks.

Renewing my wedding vows for our 50th Anniversary on the beach. (only 8 more years to go) Sailing on Titanic II on April 14th 2018 Seeing my greatgrandchildren so that we could have 5 generations again, My grandmother (Nannie) was alive to see 4 of my grandkids born. She died in 2014 at the age of 96. Buy a smaller new house. As time goes on I just might add a few more!

I LOVE being a part of the swap-bot community. I put 110% into my swaps, I always read my partners profile and always send something little they might like beyond what the swap is all about. Lately some of my partners have been very sloppy and lazy and this has surely put some negative feelings out there. to all my partners, please know that I will always send out on time and I will always follow the directions given by the host, so please do the same for me. I would never send anything that I myself would not like to receive. I'm looking forward to some great swaps with the summer closing and vacations over i'll have more time to do the things I LOVE! HAPPY FALL everyone! I took a month off because my husband retired, and actually he was in the hospital on his last day of work. We have spent the last month going crazy trying to get into a routine of getting things together and doing the everyday things. It's been a whirlwind of hsopitals, doctors visits, procedures scoccer games and we even got to go to the beach twice for 4 days. So i'll be starting slow and hope to get into at least 4 a month , can't wait for xmas swaps. Happy swapping everyone!
