Rating requirement:4.98
Last day to signup/drop:March 6, 2016
Date items must be sent by:March 14, 2016
Number of swap partners:3
Description:

Everyone will have 3 partners and to each partner 3 individual pocket letter contents, (for a total of 9) When swap is finished, everyone will be have a deconstructed pocket letter jointly created by 3 different people!

Here's how it works:

Create one pocket sized card/ATC (size: 2.5" x 3.5") with a few goodies and a sealed bag of tea (1 per partner, total of 3) along with a brief little note about yourself and the pocket you made for them.

A suggestion, cut a 9 pocket protector into 3rds, horizontally, and insert the contents into those 3 pockets, keeping things in place...that way it wont be moving all around inside an envelope!

Even though this is senders choice, I strongly suggest you look at their profile so that your partner will be pleased with what they get, and that they don't receive anything that is on their dislike list.

The theme is SPRING and is senders choice.

Some ideas:

Rules:

You must have at least 4.9 rating and no recent/unresolved 1s or 3s.

Newbies can join if they have at least 10 type 3 swaps under their belt.

REMEMBER:

Send on time and keep lines of communication open. rate your partner a 5 when you get your swap, and try to rate as promptly, everyone likes to get their ratings! Its nice to give hearts if your partner went above and beyond =D

Thank you Bambii for contributing to this idea!

WooooHOOOoooo!!! !9 peeps watching and 3 have joined so far! We gotta have at least 9 swappers to make this work! I really think this can be the beginning of a fun new twist on the popular Pocket Letter craze! If this as successful as I believe it will be, I have lots of ideas to keep it going after this one... Because we are each only doing 1 individual pocket, it makes it doable for International swappers, meaning that it wont cost so much to send! So come on you peeps watching the swap and JOIN! =D

This is my 1st ever swap I have hosted and reallly hope I wont have to cancel due to not having 9 people minimum joining...Thanks for your support :)

Too hard for newbies to join type 3 swaps because so many require that you already have a bunch of tyoe 3 completed. :-/

This really is a cool and fun idea. And I was all for it till I realized I would be mailing to 9 people.
No matter how flat or light, two letters is the same price as mailing an entire PL. At least that is how it is in Denmark. :( So I am jumping ship on this one.

It does give me the idea to swap 3 pockets with 3 ppl. That could be fun too and would lower the postage cost a lot. :)

So... this is kinda just like we're receiving 9 atcs and some goodies with them?

Also, you say it's sender's choice but to look at profiles. I find that a bit contradictory. Are participants supposed to avoid dislikes? Or..?

Hi! Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I have a new group I just made that I also created a swap just like this one except there are 3 partners instead of 9. Feel free to join the group and then you can join the swap too! The group is called Messy Fun and is listed in groups under New Groups. Also, I am going to edit this swap to be just like it and make it 3 partners in this swap as well. As far as my suggestion to check your partners profiles, it's just a suggestion so no one gets a tea they're allergic to, etc. but it's still senders choice. Yes, it's very similar to ATCs, but not as time intensive. When I make mine, they're more like ATC backgrounds that have some embellishments, etc. I have made ATCs from a lot of the contents from pocket letters I have received. Hey, that just gave me an idea for another swap! I will respond to each of you to be sure you get this update before the swap closes. Thanks so much for joining my 1st hosted swap! Susie

I thought I had it, but then I read it again. It says we would have 3 partners and would send each 1 pocket. That would be 3 pockets total, sent and received. However, it then says that we'll end up with "a deconstructed pocket letter jointly created by 9 different people." I guess I'm confused by whether it is 3 people or 9 people.

I changed it to 3 partners because we didn't have enough people sign up to have 9 partners.

I will break it down again:

We will get #3 partners and each partner gets 3 individual pocket letter contents, (a total of 9 individual pocket letter contents). when the swap is done, we all will have received enough to fill up a 9 page pocket letter/baseball trading card protector, .

Originally, I wanted this to be a 9 partner swap, but It will be cheaper this way, sending to 3 people instead to 9! Hope that clears it up!

I extended the sign up date, I had a family crisis situation the last 2 days I needed to attend to. So this gives more time for people who are watching and thinking about it to sign up! =D Thanks

I'd happily sign up, but I'm not sure I have 10 type 3s yet. I have 11 swaps, 5 type 3s, all 5 ratings... is that okay?

susiescottsdale 03/ 6/2016 #

DeadlyHausfrau, that's fine! =D

A suggestion, cut a 9 pocket protector into 3rds, horizontally, and insert the contents into those 3 pockets, keeping things in place...that way it wont be moving all around inside an envelope!
