NOTE 01/22/11: There are two old unfinished swaps listed in my "Currently In" section. I got behind and had to leave SB due to some health issues. When I came back, I made up everything that was possible to make up. While the items for the two unsent swaps are complete and boxed, I've been unable to get a reply from my partners or coordinators (or admin) so that I can send them.

I ALWAYS mail my swaps out on time (barring some big life interference), so if you haven't received something from me, please let me know so I can resend before giving me a poor rating.

Unless I need stamps or have to mail a larger package, I mail things (postcards, etc.) by dropping them in the outgoing mail box outside my apartment building. I mark things sent once they have left my hands. They may, of course, not be picked up until the next day (or Monday if it's a weekend) by the USPS.

I rate for everything I receive, usually the day it's received. If I have not rated you, it means that I haven't gotten anything from you. Feel free to message me if you are concerned about this.

On a similar note, I would appreciate it if you would take the time to rate me if I've sent to you for a swap. It really does not take more than 30 seconds to do, and it's just courteous.

I like Victorian style things as well as modern and bright colored things. My living room in my house is very modern in red/white/black, and my bedroom furniture is all stuff I found at thrift stores or that people in my building were getting rid of in green/aqua/blue.

I'm a total nerd for the German language. Or any language. I like learning new things!

I generally love anything that has to do with nature. Not a fan of spiders - please, please, if at all avoidable, do not send me spider-themed things. They will freak me out big time.

I collect postcards and pressed pennies, and am always up for a private swap on them. So don't hesitate to ask!

I enjoy things that are odd, kitschy, "different", and just plain strange. I'm not easily offended by pretty much anything (except racial and religious slurs - booooo), so feel free to send me taboo things.

I eat a vegan diet and only use vegan products - don't have any allergies or anything, just a moral preference. So please, nothing with meat, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, gelatin, beeswax, or lanolin. And also please no leather/feathers/fur/wool. Sorry - I know I'm picky!

I'm a huge fan of the show Mystery Science Theater 3000 and love all the cheesy old sci-fi movies.

I love Nikola Tesla! He was an awesome scientist! If you do not believe me, please read this. I am pretty much obsessed.

If anybody has a place to get Pickles the Frog stuff near them, let me know. I love Pickles, and would love some stationary, which I will gladly reimburse you for or trade you something you want that I can get.

My absolute huge longshot, dream wish would be to get a deck of tarot cards (handmade) that look like (or are based on/inspired by, for the cards not shown) the deck in the title sequence of the show "Carnivale". You can watch the clip here. They are the most beautiful ones I've ever seen! This would be a big project and I'd be forever indebted, but...I said it was a huge wish. I'm just not creative/talented enough in the art department to whip a set up.

I'm crazy about "Le Pen" pens in all colors. I tend to pick them up (at Papyrus stores) when I travel. Unfortunately, my small dog has turned to grabbing things - especially pens and markers - off of side tables when she feels she's not getting enough attention. So I go through a lot of pens. :)

I'd really love to receive some postcards of all the weird roadside attractions that are hiding out around the country!

I'm always interested in trying new products from Lush, so if you have (vegan) samples or products you didn't like, I'll gladly take them! :)

I use film for my Lomo cameras (35mm and 120 - color 120 is a bitch to get here, although I can get lots of the Lomo licensed 35mm films) and am always glad to have more of that. I also still have a Polaroid instant camera, but am not able to get film here for it. So if anybody wants to do a private swap...hooray!

There's a link to my Etsy Favorites list up at the top of the page. I tryyyy to keep it updated, but can't always be on top of that. If something on it reads as "sold out" and it's soap or something like that, odds are the seller has created another listing for it in their shop. I just don't have time to switch to the new listing each time something like that sells out. But one-of-a-kind things, I will try to delete if they're gone.

Remember, these are just super hard-to-find wishes for me, not demands. Please don't think I'm super picky or will be let down if somebody doesn't go out of their way to make sure I get these things! :)
